Mystic Dunes, a Hilton Vacation Club

Don’t be swayed by some of these reviews. This course is worth playing and we will be play here again next year. This course has a great layout and is ver challenging. The course does need some love here and there but overall it was a good experience. Some of the greens we a bit bumpy but for the most part rolled fast and true. We stayed after for beers and burger. Great food and a friendly welcoming staff.

greens are unputtable, cant tell where the fairways end, if the fairway has any grass at all and the waste area starts. two people i got put with left after 6 holes they were so disgusted. they could have warned us about the conditions and maybe cut the rate to 20.00, no money back so i played the entire round. go to other courses, this is awful and no way worth the money i paid.

From rude pro shop personnel to unpleasant restaurant staff to greens that were l rough.

Very disappointed with our experience and the amount of money we paid to play a course that should only charge $30 to play. Number 6 green is completely lost to disease and was totally unplayable. By far, the worst experience I’ve had scheduling through Golf Now. The starter was very friendly and helpful explaining the conditions we encountered.

Nice layout kind of short which fits my game but needs some tlc

Fairways had nicely groomed weeds, so we agreed to move our ball to the nearest bit of grass. Greens were in decent shape. Sand traps hadn’t been groomed in ages, again we raked and place if necessary. I hope Hilton will get this course back to what it used to be. Good track, just needs some love.

Played Mystic the other day and felt the course was in nice shape except, 3 or 4 greens that were a little bumpy towards the end. The other greens were actually nice and rolling well. The tees and fairways have been over-seeded, but a little rough off the beaten path. Would play again!

Fungus, burned out, sandy, horrible greens. Should be all listed as ground under repair.

I understand that they have been staff short.

But, for the conditions was over priced.

Realized, I am not a fan of Dunes........... much different than waste areas.

Was disappointed at the poor course conditions. Would not play here again. However, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Too slow, no course marshals to move people along. Tee time of 8:10 and still took 5 hours. There were holes open in front of the foursome in front of us and no one around to push them along. Course conditions not worth the money.

This course is a $40 at best price. Greens are full of weeds and missing grass. Fairways are patchy grass. 90% of the time your ball in fairway is sitting in grass craters. It’s not well maintained what so ever. Go someone else!

The staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately the course was sub-par. The greens were very undulating but that wasn't the problem. The winter conditions made the Bermuda greens almost impossible to predict.

We will not play this course again at least in February.
