The staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately the course was sub-par. The greens were very undulating but that wasn't the problem. The winter conditions made the Bermuda greens almost impossible to predict.

We will not play this course again at least in February.

Course was in rough shape. Greens were horrible patches of grass here and there, bald spots just bad.

won't go back , surprised they could charge 110 bucks to play here.

Played yesterday and the course was decent from tee to green. Greens need a little love, but rolled nice for the most part. I’ve definitely played nicer but some of these “horrible” reviews are overboard. Great layout perfectly located near Disney.

Entire course is in rough shape. I’m told they are tearing out all the greens later this year. Better values elsewhere…

Too expensive green fees (high season).. without notifying us, we found 18 greens in horrible conditions... at least, they should told us about the greens condition, so we were be able to decide either play or not. Not even one good green.

My friends and I come to Orlando every year to play some great courses. Disney was booked so we thought we would give mystic dunes a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the course, layout the greens rolled fast and true. The staff is friendly throughout, and the food was great. Plan to come back next year.

Wanted to try new courses on our February trip so I booked Mystic Dunes for 7:20am. I got paired with a threesome but they were just learning so they told me to play ahead so I played as a single. They started off on hole 10 and the back nine greens were in horrible shape. They were very bumpy and had massive sinkholes in them. I took some pics and will include them if I can as they were big enough to cover a golf ball. Some of the holes were very pretty but the layout was awful. One of the greens on the back nine had a two tier green and the spine was around 6 feet high. No chance to stop a putt if you weren’t on the correct side. Also 18 had a high faced bunker right in the middle of the fairway and by the green was tiny and protected by hills on half of it. Was a poor finishing hole. The front side was much better and the greens were in excellent condition. The par three next to the waterfall was gorgeous. The last layout issue was on hole nine as it was a 440 yard par four (from the 6,000 yard tees) which on other holes is a par 5. Just didn’t seem to flow well. I am happy I got to experience it and the staff was very friendly but i doubt i will play it ever again.

So we played again on Monday 2-13-23. The course is showing improvement every time we play here. We played middle of last month and course was in good shape. They are really busy this time of the year but we love the layout. Fairways, tees, and green surrounds are over seeded and play well. They didn't overseed the greens but they roll true. They are a little thin but hold shots well. So on to the laughing part as stated in my title. There is nothing wrong with this course. For the money it is awesome. Don't be discouraged by the reviews, this course is not what people make it out to be. By the way 3 of the 4 of us are scratch golfers. I shot 76 here, if it was that bad that would not be feasible.

1.5 HCP playing for first time. The grass is spotty and not very well manicured. It’s fine and playable but expected more for $110/round the greens we’re bumpy so hard to roll putts. The positives are the golf carts are great and the layout is real solid. Would recommend looking at other options for the price unless conditions improve

I was warned that the course was challenging but fair. Not sure about fair. Done greens and tee boxes we’re in poor shape;. Getting high follard for non residents is the norm for winter golf in Florida. You would hope the experience would be worth the time and money. Sadly it was not.

Course was in poor shape. Greens were a mess and patchy. Would not play here again. Sad because it was a nice course years ago when we played there.

Greens are the worse I’ve ever seen. Would have been nice to know in advance how bad they really are. Tried getting drinks at turn abd bartender looked at 4 different times and never served me. $100 is $80 too much!!!!

Employees are courteous and welcoming, and amenities are great. But anyone who wants to play a quality golf course, for purely the golf experience, you may want to look elsewhere. The Tee boxes are in good condition, fairways and bunkers are in fair shape,

but the greens are the worst I have ever encountered in Florida. They are in dire need of being torn out and redone. Every green has tufts of taller grass spread throughout the green which makes your putt bounce or deflect from its intended path.

The price to value relationship is way out of whack here. The price is more in line with value management perceives the course SHOULD offer, not what the actual value golfers get.

I played another area course this week that was also in a resort but was priced half of Mystic Dunes and was much better value for the golf experience.

Fiddly course, tight in places making ball placement essential for a good score.

Course very scruffy and the greens were bumpy and the grass was suffering.

Greens are in atrocious conditions. It appears the greens/grass are diseased. Putts are so bumpy balls do not retain its path. Fairways are no better.

For the money, the greens were in horrible shape. Bare spots, holes, divots, etc. I don't know if the winter weather got to them, but other courses in the area have better green conditions. For the money this was just not worth it.
