Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge

Good agronomy, excellent condition of greens. Greens were fast true roll flat with slight pitch. Interesting holes not too long, not too tight Good location easy to find with GPS.

Overall golf course is in good shape, staff are friendly from bag drop area to the clubhouse, plus many holes are so challenging and you wish you could be back and playing better!

Excellent experience all around. Facility well organized with adequate staff at bag drop, pro shop check in, food/drink cart, restaurant, on course marshalls and clean up at the end. All tee times booked that day but still had a 4:15 round with only short waits at the par 3. Marshall came around every other hole and even helped us find a lost ball to keep play moving. Course was in very good shape except for tee boxes that were well worn. Greens ran slow that day. Was nice to see approach shots stick. Generous fairway widths. Holes nicely spaced out from each other. Excellent locker facility that included private showers I used before my flight home that evening. Definitely recommend.

For a new guest the signage is terrible. Have to pay in one location and drive to another before a long walk to the first tee. Rude pro shop employee charged $8/each for pull carts that are listed as an included fee on GolfNow. Course was in really rough condition for the price. Poa Annua all over the greens.

If you are expecting Tooth to be as nice as the full size courses at Orange County, you will be greatly disappointed. There are bare spots, some trash not picked up, and the greens are spotty. It is a decent value this time of year though.

We enjoyed The Tooth and were able to get through 9 holes in 90 mins which was great.

Course was generally in nice shape but I imagine the greens on the main courses are in better shape.

My only question is about the length. With the all the property available at the massive Orange County National, why would you limit the 9-hole course to 7 par-3s and 2 par-4s?

Maybe they feel the demand is there for more of an executive course, but as a vacationer to the area, it’s nice to have 9-hole options that don’t take up an entire day to leave time for other activities.

We will definitely go back, but will probably play one of the regular courses.

I would not rule out the Tooth for another quick 9 though. It was a nice little track!

If you’ve played before go back and play again course is much improved over the last year imo.

Green complex’s fairways in great condition

Nice Course. We played a late tee time early spring. Did not have time to finish. There was little backup when we got to the back nine and the two groups in front of us were slow and had no Marshall to move them along. They called us of the course at dusk. Other than that I would play it again.

It was a perfect day. Temperature was nice, not to windy, fairways were perfect, and the greens rolled perfect. P
