Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
About Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
Somewhat overshadowed by Sawgrass, this classic inn and resort predates it by several decades. Two charming golf courses have benefited from the design expertise of local resident and experienced architect Bobby Weed, and the new Lodge recently increased the resort's accommodations complement by several dozen rooms. Ponte Vedra Inn & Club should be near the top of the list for visitors seeking a sense of Old Florida.Facts

Play On
Course continues to get better. Senior tee boxes in need of serious work
Quickest Round of the Year
Played the blues in less than 4 hours in a foursome. Lost little time looking for balls. Nice layout. Course in good condition. Will definitely play again.
Take care of this course!
Very disappointed in the condition of this course! The tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in poor condition. We have played this course for 7 straight years and always found it in excellent shape. RIght now not worth playing.
3 stars
Course is in muni level condition. Greens and tee boxes could use work. Certainly not worth more than $30 a round for the quality of the golf course. Free range balls prior to the round was nice and the staff was friendly. Might be back if the conditions improve
A nice Florida course but tee boxes need attention
We played on sunny windy cool day, course fairways in good shape. Unfortunately on the back nine, tee boxes and greens had sparse grass and had changed quite a bit from when my playing partners had experienced their visit 3 weeks prior.
To be fair they had a massive amount of rain the prior evening and many of the sand traps turned into small ponds.
The wildlife their was abundant. Saw gators (one was 12 feet long). Also saw turtles, many birds, and squirrels.
Free range balls and customer service was great.
Conditions
The course is well laid out. The staff was very friendly and take good care of you. My main concern is the conditions of the course, the front nine was in good condition, the back nine was in terrible shape.
Challenging but fair.
Had a great time and will play there again. Pace of play was good, the greens were in good shape , and the staff was friendly and courteous.
I love this course. Always in great condition and the staff is always cool.
Gotta play this course.
Bent not broken
Greens were nice. This course needs a major overhaul. Fairways, tee boxes and cart paths are in bad shape
VERY GOOD LAYOUT
Very nice layout, greens were hard, but putted well fairways dormant in some areas., needs some watering. The are reroofing and adding or extending a patio which appears to be where all the money is going. We are use to playing this course when it is in country club shape, not there at this time.
If you get a deal... maybe
Range balls included + mats only -
Layout +
Greens - - - slow, needs rolling and patches missing.
Staff nice and course has potential. Tee boxes overall no bueno
disappointed
The condition of the course was very poor. There were many spots on numerous greens, and in most fairways that have no grass, just dirt. I played out of a bunker our two that had more grass in them than the fairways. They seem to putting a ton of money into the clubhouse, but maybe the course is next? We paid $75 each to play, but I would say this is a $40 course.
