Saddlebrook Resort
About Saddlebrook Resort
Since 1981, Saddlebrook Resort has been a go-to-destination for golfers, located just 30 miles north of Tampa International Airport. The resort's two original Arnold Palmer designs are being redesigned in 2025 into a 27-hole combination by Rees Jones. This entirely new playing experience will pair with a new 13-acre practice facility, home to a two-sided range, and golf school to engage golfers. A world-class tennis facility is another major attraction of this resort. A sweeping $92 million transformation will reimagine the 451-room resort from the ground up – positioning it among the nation’s premier leisure and sports resorts.Facts

Great course, Terrible parking
Was an amazing course, but terrible trying to park
Awesome outing with my son
Had a great time on the Palmer course. Didn’t bring our clubs but they had those to rent. Great time. Carts were awesome as well with real time data letting you know were to go and how much further.
Was just ok
Didn’t live up to the hype for me. I was not overly impressed. Very confusing on where the clubhouse was exactly. People working there were great and friendly. Course was in good shape and condition. ( Palmer course). Just wasn’t a wow factor for supposedly being 1 of Tampa’s best courses.
Greens were excellent and super fast and rolling.
I will probably try the saddle brook course just for fun but won’t expect much.
Parking Argh !
Parking is a nightmare ... they need to figure it out.
What a Pleasure!
Got an amazing bargain $30 rate through Golfnow and couldn't wait to play. This course is in MUCH better condition than any other non-private course in the area. Greens were smooth and consistent. Some rough spots in the fairways, but they were few and far between. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed the course
I enjoyed the course. This is the first time I’ve played the Saddle brooks course. Pace was great. I wish they had water on the course or 2 in the cart like some courses do. Other than that it’s a great course and a great deal. I’m playing the Palmer course next.
Very Average
They force you to valet, add $12 + tip there. Valet couldn't find my keys, ended up walking to my car and driving it back to the bag drop myself...
Course was in very mediocre shape, greens were full of bumps.
NO water on the course at all and charge you $5 per bottle of water ... your course is located in Florida, its June, have water for the people paying $75 to play an extremely mediocre course..
Fun Course
Saddlebrook is a fun course to play , finished in 4 hours on a fairly busy Saturday!
