About Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

The Florida Panhandle is known for its world-class beaches, and since 1973, Sandestin has offered a Gulfside retreat and an increasing menu of golf options. Situated on 2,400 acres, the resort boasts more than 1,000 total rooms, suites and villas for couples, families and buddy groups. Its four golf courses include The Links, Baytowne, The Raven and Burnt Pine Golf Club. Burnt Pine is an otherwise private club that makes tee times available to resort guests. Sandestin's sheer size means that practically any beach resort amenity is available, including the large Baytowne Marina.

Played the saturday after thanksgiving

Pace of play was poor - no marshalls and even after we called pro shop no response

Halfway house is a shack and no 19th hole

was decent for price

Day after Thanksgiving

We had fun getting out for a few hours while vacationing. Tee boxes were in pretty bad shape. Greens were fair. Course cart paths are horrible.

Sand traps

Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. Sand traps have been neglected for months. Some washed out. Might find a rake every once in a while. Greens no mowed and ball marks everywhere. Safe your money and play somewhere else.

I have played here numerous times. The course was in very good condition. Driving range was closed. Barely noticed the overseeding of some greens. They all rolled nicely except 17 which was slightly bumpy. Perfect weather. Nice layout.
