Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Frustrated with all the small stones on the greens. I guess they came from the sand traps. They were large enough to divert your putt if you did not sweep them off your path.

Beautiful views and fun course layout. A little windy for our round but that’s how it goes in Florida. Excited to come back

As is the case with many courses in the South this time of year, Baytowne is coming out of overseeding so the conditions are not ideal. Greens were very slow and the course was moist but that's because they need to keep the grass from getting dry. However, this is a nice track with some great holes and I would definitely play again when its' in better shape.

We always enjoy playing Baytowne. Not as soggy and wet on the course this week. Wish they’d offer specials for locals and for playing only 9 holes.

Despite 3” of rain the previous day the course was open and 90% of bunkers were in v. good state to play from. Some wet spots on fairways but managed well by course markers and officials. Got very windy for our back 9 which was challenging, but course was in great condition after overseeing and greens ran well and fairly quick.

When golfing at all three courses (Raven, Baytown & Links), you're in Heaven!

Really nice course, interesting with variety of scenery and course layout. We really enjoyed it, and with the exception of a very few greens that were in transition, excellent shape (all greens were eminently playable). On the back nine, Brown Pelicans were hunting, diving and splashing, catching fish. They were a treat to see. I’d recommend this course for sure.

One of the nicest courses in the local area for reliable golf

We were told at booking that the course had been over seeded recently. We were not told that so much water was put on the course that conditions were very wet and carts were not allowed in the fairways. For older golfers this made for too much walking . We should have canceled our round due to course being too wet.

The course is in great shape and it plays as a thinking persons course.
