Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Nice greens, fairways good, pace of play slow no rangers. Enjoy scenic layout a lot

Disappointed is an understatement. The staff was not friendly, I showed up 40 mins early for my 10:10 tee time and they had overbooked it and told me they could squeeze us in at 9:40 which was right then. They stacked all the tee times so close there were at least 3 groups on one hole at a time. Many of the club members were rude while playing. Needless to say we played 9 instead of our 18 holes and took out business elsewhere. Unfortunately we overpaid for such a terrible experience. Would not recommend.

Play this course often. This is a great track but the lack of friendliness from the starters amazes me.

I always make sure to spend money inside to support the shop. Tip the cart guys well as they are also great.

The people inside the shop are super friendly and helpful.

Then you walk out to someone who is completely cranked out for having to be working never pleasant .

This woman yesterday was yelling at the guy yesterday for wanting his own cart as he had a cough and didn’t want to get anyone sick.

There are plenty of friendly people who would want to work.

Visiting friends in the area, it was 45 degrees and had rained the day and night before. There were large puddles in a few bunkers, but otherwise the course had drained very well. Unfortunately it was cart path only. Like many resort courses, the fairways are pretty wide, but the approach shots and greens are challenging. Water is in play on many holes, but it’s not target golf. I’d be happy to play it again on a nice warm day.

The course is a beauty. My friends and I booked an early tee time but the cold weather froze the ground and the staff professionally adjusted all tee time for the day. They let us in early to enjoy the warm pro shop, and watch some football ore-game shows. Once we were let onto the course we were met with excellently kept greens and a beautifully sculpted course. Well worth the money, and the pace of play was perfect for the 3 of us. Best Iron game I had since picking up golf was played on this course.

The Raven in Sandestin is a very good golf course and I would highly recommend playing it! Lots of shot selections and conditions were good for early January. The greens rolled extremely nicely!

Staff was friendly. I will be back in the future.

Couple things made for not the best experience.

Thankfully only in one trap all day but really no sand in any of them, more dirt and mud.

The starter tracked us down on the second hole and accused us as playing as a five-some and insisted one person didn’t pay. Very strange.

The 700-yard difference from the tips to the next set of tees is crazy, there really needs to be a 6200-6300 yard option, even if it is a recommended combo.

Todays play was cart path only due to a rain shower overnight we were told however the the course was dry. It obviously slowed our play. The range was was closed too. The course itself was in great shape. I would play the course again as long as it’s not cart path only.

The course was in good shape. Very enjoyable to play. Lots of hazards but wide landing areas .Will definitely play again.

Fun layout solid conditions for a 70$ course with the slow greens. Definitely a 5 hour loop but worth a visit.
