The lady that was the starter very rude greens were in bad shape no sand in sand traps it’s Florida there’s sand everywhere but in there traps no cart person for the first nine just not worth 105 green fee

We have played this course numerous times over the past 20 years and this is the worst shape we have ever seen. Not sure why, but it was very disappointing. The pace of play was awful and the person in the golf shop staff reminded me of the DMV. Maybe he was having a bad day. Sandestin is a wonderful resort and we have never had a bad experience in the past at any of the courses. Hopefully they can focus on the course conditions and restore it back to being the fun course it used to be.

Very enjoyable course. Scenic, not overly difficult. For the price, could be a bit better maintained - bridges in poor condition, greens quick but bumpy, green surrounds a little weedy. Driving range is limited to irons only.

Great course, well maintained, great facilities, friendly staff

Played this course 9/16,9/17,9/18. Course condition was great. Only negative was a couple of the traps didn’t have much sand. More like a waste area. Pace was fine until last round. In fairness they were finishing up a tournament (scramble format) so it was backed up. It was a 2:00 round. Three guys in front of us hit multiple balls off the tee in every direction. We ended up playing front twice so we could finish. But, obviously really liked course as we chose to play it 3 days in a row.

The clubhouse folks warned us that the greens were a work in progress as they had “lost” them earlier in the year - did NOT result in a reduced price for play. They had top dressed the greens the day before, and they were not as bad as I thought they would be, but were slow. In particular, hole 13 was HORRIBLE, not because of condition of the green - the fairway was void of grass , not dirt, but definitely not as nice as all the other holes. Almost like they had not watered it for a long time…

Still, fun to play, would not hesitate to play again even in the current condition.

Have played this course numerous times times over the years and not sure what has happened, but greens mower is scalping the greens, tee boxes for red and white are in rough shape plus the pin cup cutter is tearing a portion of the hole. Staff is amazing but can't make up for poor course conditions

Fun layout and the staff was very friendly. Maybe its the time of year but the course and the greens in particular, were in pretty bad shape. Gave up putting after two holes. Should not be charging anywhere near the $100 mark.

Overall disappointing.

This is my favorite course in the Destin area.

Super fun to play without being TOO easy - requires proper placement of the ball on a lot of shots, but not so long to intimidate a newer player.

Enjoyed the round, course well conditioned and greens were very fast coming from the Midwest. Staff was very courteous and helpful. We played a foursome in under 4 hours even waiting on a few shots on the twosome in front of us.

Everything about the links course was spectacular !!! I will definitely be returning to play again and possibly try the other two courses as well !!!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The course was in very good condition. We played on Sunday in under four hours. Highly recommend

Spend a couple weeks a year in Destin area and have played many spots over the years. I play a sister track "The Links" 10+ times (actually played Links Monday.) first time playing Baytowne and will prob book again before leaving.

Greeted by staff at bag drop and counter at pro shop. Super friendly and informative for first time play.

The starter was very nice and we talked for a couple minutes. The other players in the group no show so he sent us off at scheduled time, by second hole the group in front waved us through and we played 18 in 2.5 hours.

Boxes looked great and fairways super.

The greens were a very slow but rolled true. I struggled w greens

I left my phone in the cart and I called 30 mins after we left, they found it and held at the pro shop when I returned couple hours later. THANKS!

I played 4 course this week and to be honest, it was my favorite by far. Will be back next year
