Great day worth the price
So it took some time to pull the trigger for $170 a round but it was a birthday present. The course was amazing, challenging and all in all fun to play. The starter at red reef saw we were walking and reminded us that if the weather got to us be can have a cart ready for us on the turn. After the round we went to the restaurant and had an amazing lunch. Great day! Worth the cost for sure.
Worth every penny
The greens were slow and probably recently air raided...you can still see the sand. Fairways were perfect and the rough was deadly thick. Great course and well kept.
Played 9 holes
Played 9 holes so there golf course refunded half my money. Called and spoke to a customer service rep that said he would call me back and give me my refund. No call. No refund. Not sure if I'll ever get it even though the golf course did it immediately. Not sure about doing business with gn anymore either
Great courses and options
We love Trump Doral. Nice courses and options. Our only issue is the cart spreed limit (too slow) and the cleanliness of the golf carts. Specially since we are still getting over a pandemics. They should be cleaner. But over all a great place to relax and play this amazing game.
Not worth the money
The Silver course is ok, the greens are in awful condition, nothing like the other three courses. Would never play again.
Spectacular Course
The Golden Palm is tough but fair. Great course all around.
Looking forward to playing again!
Great Course, Challenging
Course is narrow and hazards are in play. Decided to play from the black tees bc of the yardage (not my brightest idea). Should’ve played something closer. Course was great, facility was great too. Course requires you to hit good shots. Greens are true and fast. I would play this course again and I would recommend this to others.
Staff was horrible and greens just as bad…
I don’t usually write reviews , but I have to on this one… I’m a 10 handicap and member at biltmore where staff treats you nice and course is maintained … the silver was complete opposite … staff was mean and stuck up and greens were trash… not worth the money, I don’t care how much you got, pay to play somewhere else
Worst Greens in Miami
I don't think I have ever written a review before, but the people must know. I have been playing the Trump Doral courses for 15 years and this is by far the worst condition I have ever seen the greens in. Tee to green was solid, but once you got to the green you might as well pick up your ball. Heavy amounts of sand as well as punch holes. Beyond this there were many areas under repair on the greens. This did not look like normal greens undergoing usual maintenance. I could tell that these greens have not been running well for months. The fact that the course happily takes your steep $170 for greens that are barely playable without warning is absolutely ridiculous. Without a doubt the Silver Fox has the worst greens in Miami right now, if not in all of South Florida. DO NOT spend all that money to play hear until its fixed. Better off playing the Red Tiger or Golden Palm. Everything about the resort is great, but course condition is awful.
Great Course but Terrible Greens
Played this course several times and always enjoyed it but today the condition of the greens was terrible after recent maintenance. Front 9 greens were especially poor. Bumpy, patchy and covered in sand with many poorly repaired areas. Disappointed that the condition of the course was not highlighted on website or by staff. Definitely not worth the green fee with greens in such poor condition.
Trump Doral - Golden Palm
Had an excellent time. Greens are immaculate, bunkers were well kept, and staff was very accommodating. Pro shop is well stocked, and their selection of gear and clothing was exceptional.
Poor conditions
Greens were not playable, don’t waste your money here.
