outstanding
Another Trump masterpiece! This is the 5th or 6th Trump course I've played and expectations were surpassed once again. Unfortunately the Blue Monster was closed due to maintenance but the Red Tiger did not disappoint! Like MacArthur and Schwarzenegger, "I'll be baack"!!!
Silver Course
- Doral is nice and rates via Golfnow make it somewhat affordable just realize you will have to pack your clubs to get from car to pro shop. There is no signage to get from bag drop to pro shop so ask someone to guide you Everytjinh else nice
Professional
The course is set up for professional golfers. I believe you have to play the course two or three times to learn the course. After four holes I figured out how to get out of sand traps by switching wedges.I wish it was just a little bit less professional set up. But it was still fun. I made four pars.
Trump Never Disappoints
Only course left to play is the blue monster. Pro shop said red tiger is easier than golden palm I beg to differ the fairways are a lot tighter on red tiger and if you play a fade it’s extremely hard to stop the ball in the fairway before it rolls out into the water. Hit 2 balls that landed in the fairway and ended up in the water on the right side. switched to draw which I’m much less comfortable with on the back 9 and shot 40. Front nine shot 48 </3 the greens are always immaculate here. CHECK YARDAGE TO BACK OF GREENS. there are about 5 or 6 greens where if you’re even a little long it’s going off the back, potentially into water. #6 completely thru me for a loop slung a spinning 56 into the back right pin location didn’t check as much as I thought but literally almost came to a stop 3-4 feet past the hole, started rolling again and off the back of the green into the water. The par 3s are tough so if you can’t hit your irons it’s tough to score on the course and can’t use distance to make up for it. Par 5s are gettable aside from 1 that has really well protected green. Bunkers, rough, fairways & tees great condition. The greens were even better a little unreceptive as they dried out over the afternoon but this is comparatively speaking considering most courses have so much sand on the greens which soften them up. All in all id give a 8.5-10. I enjoyed the gold course more, maybe just because I played a lot better shot 81 as opposed to 88 on the tiger. But also feel like the gold
Course had more memorable holes + a finishing island green.
Why it’s not a 10: never saw a beverage cart and it was really hot out, tried to force us to valet park and then the self park lot is literally a half mile walk from the club house throw some sunburn on your shoulders and it’s a death march. And the signage was not very good as to where to go to find the next hole. Almost played the 11th or 12th hole after 17 got really confused and realized the tee boxes were to a sharp left as opposed to following the path.
Staff is amazing as always, carts are so comfortable you don’t want to get up to hit your shot. Gps. Great day at trump Doral
Red tiger
As a first time player of this course I didn’t know what to expect. Having played all the other Doral courses in the past. I hoped for the best. I was surprised and delighted with the conditions and my golf experience.
Tough Little Course
I played the golden palm 2 wks ago, figured I would give the red tiger a go. After going -2 thru 3 the wheels fell off. It was extremely hot and we didn’t see the beer cart once that’s my only gripe, it was cool that there were 6 par 5s but the 6 par 3s really made it difficult to score the wind was l2r today and if you put even a bit of fade on it u lost 15-20 yards and / or found water. The greens were amazing. The pin positions were extremely difficult today as well. Kicked my butt but I still had a great time. Trump is immaculate always red tiger doesn’t disappoint. Please just get a cart girl on the course I would have loved a bottle of water and a brewski

Played from tips course is in great shape!
Staff was excellent
Worst resort experience ever on the Blue Monster
First I had to carry my clubs from the bag drop 100 yards to the starters area. Then told to walk over a get my own cart, then loaded my bag on the cart. Then told it was cart paths only ( 85 degrees, 100 percent humidity), so you had to walk 100 yards at least every time you hit your ball. By the 10 or 11 hole I was wiped out. There was large amounts of tree trimmings around several Of the tee boxes. The after completion of the round I had to carry my clubs back to the club drop, all this fun for $250. If I could talk to President Trump ( whom I love) I would say your fired.
The only redeeming moment at Trump National is when the sales lady in the Blue Monster shop tracked me down And returned a wad of cash I dropped in the shop Shout Out to you young lady!!!!
Great course
I play here every time I’m down in Florida. Trump national is always in great shape. Price is on the high side but you get what you pay for
Nice complex
Very nice place. Golf meca. Was happy to be able to play there. Treated us wonderfully all day. Greens are fast course is beautiful.
Tough
Have to be able to fly it on each green. Greens are huge alwith lots of slope. Lots of large traps features in front of greens. A little too tough to me very challenging for any good golfer.
Beautiful course
Course conditions good, green fast, a few holes tee box directions not clear.
Lives up the the Trump name! USA! MAGA!
From the second you arrive on the property you know you’re in for a great day. It’s $10 for parking, BUT you get unlimited range balls before your round with an amazing target selection and turf (no mats!) also a great short game area with balls provided. The layout of the course is very interesting from the 1st green on you know you’re in for a challenge. #10 is very tricky hit what I thought was a solid 4 iron ended up rolling out of the fairway into the water. (And that’s why I never lay up lol) a lot of forced carries over water so if you can’t get the ball up don’t play here. Greens were perfect a little on the unreceptive side for long irons in just trap it a little more and get that extra spin if you can! 18 is an absolute perfect ending hole. Wish there was a snack bar or something at the turn. Got to the 9th hole expected to grab a couple glizzys and some brews and found just the 10th tee. But, really not an issue at all. Can’t wait to be back.
Upscale course with downscale services
I played the Golden Palm followed by the Blue Monster a couple of days later. Both courses are nice, the Golden Palm was a better value. Where the resort falls short is with their amenities. To be fair I was aware of this from reading previous reviews, but I will share my experience. First, there isn't a bag drop near the cart area and they charge $10 to park your car that requires a shuttle to the cart area with your bags (gratuity expected). The start was okay and with a very nice practice area. The real rub was after finishing the Blue Monster on the second day, we were expecting a shuttle from the cart area to the area where another shuttle takes you to the parking area. We were told we would have to carry our bags to the parking lot shuttle which was several hundred yards away. My playing partner commented that he was 70 and didn't want to carry his bag and accessories that far. The response was pretty much, sorry but you have to carry your bags (after the first round we did have someone shuttle us to the parking lot pick up point). Once we got to the parking lot pick up point, there was no shuttle. After waiting for 5+ minutes in the heat, we got frustrated and walked to the parking lot. Based on this experience, we will likely not be returning to play here again.
Nice track, worth playing.
Pricey, but this is an excellent course for a special occasion. The conditions were excellent and the greens were lightning fast.
