Magical, Amzing, Great

When you first get there the staff greats you with great warmth and offers support in every part of the check in process till the last hole. The gift shop needs some better product but if you’re looking for fun dis ey golf memorabilia then you will find plenty there. Make sure to call the pro shop for rates as the app might over charge you.

The fairways and greens played true and were in professional shape. The course is clearly managed well from top to bottom.

Disney course Magnolia

Course is very challenging; however it was under partial reconstruction. I would wait until remodeling is completed.

Great break from work

While in Orlando for work I was able to get a mid day tee time and club rental. Taylor Made clubs very similar to my own. Course was cart path only because of recent rain but not a problem. Tees, fairways, and traps were in excellent condition and slightly better condition than the greens, but that is just being picky. Pretty open fairways on most holes. Played the gold tees which I would recommend for those like me with a handicap north of 20.

Not what you pay for.

This was my first time playing in Disney world or near its property. I was extremely excited hearing great things about courses on the Disney world grounds and convinced my wife to let me play golf on her birthday trip here during the week. I was able to book the course on golf now for a lot cheaper than on the website and still payed 90$ for the 18 at noon. The course staff was very friendly and accommodating. Carts were also clean and in great condition. However the course was in sub par shape. The greens were not consistent, patchy, and even had dirt spots on some. The t boxes were pretty wore out as well. There were a few fairways that were in good condition but overall the course was pretty poor especially for the price point they ask. Overall course design was good and was content with the layout. I’m from the south and play a lot of courses this time of year with same climate and courses back home are more than half that price and in much better shape. I would not pay the price for this course again.

The nicest Disney course!

Have played all the courses at WDW over the years, Palm has always been the best conditioned course, and it was again this trip. Palm is also the most attractive course. The greens on Palm this visit were better than Magnolia. The only drawback to Palm is that its much softer/ wetter than Magnolia, even without any recent rains my drives often plugged in the fairways! Its is also the most quiet & peaceful of the disney courses! The staff were helpful but several of the ones ai ask questions of gave me varying answers to questions about their practice facilities, and such. Unless you play your rounds late afternoon the prices here are, well, ridiculous! Overpriced big time!

Old and worn.

Have played here numerous times over recent decades when on vacation. Usually I’m excited about it however this year I finally noticed how boring and worn MAGNOLIA really is. If you play the PALM course first its even more noticeable since the Palm is lush and most fairways more tree lined! The new holes on Magnolia near the end of the back 9 were nice and had a totally different look & feel, however asside from those The balance of the course is.. well, boring! The courses at WDW are managed by A.Palmer Golf Co. These are some very busy courses year round yet the staff here all seemed to be operating on different pages! I would get different answers from different staff when I ask about things like d. ranges, and practice areas. The first day/visit the females behind the counter weren’t overly nice. I long for the bygone days whwn Disney operated the courses and all the staff were extremely warm and friendly.

Worst greens ever…fairways not much better

This should be a beautiful course but most of the fairways were spongy, wet, or muddy even though it had lightly rained once in three days. The greens were the worst I’ve ever seen; half of the grass was dead and the rest was dying. No consistency to it so your ball bounced everywhere. I could not believe the course was actually open. Driving range was mats only. My foursome joked that we hoped the greens on the course were not as bad as the practice green (this is Disney for goodness sakes). No warning by the staff other than “cart path only on 1, 8, & 18.” When we asked after the round, we were told they are considering shutting down in December to make some adjustments. Not what I was expecting.

Slow play on a great course

The pace of play was decent on the front nine but the back nine was a disaster. After waiting 20 minutes to tee off on 10, we encountered staff towing a cart with a dead cart who very poorly communicated and yelled at us for their lack of communication. The group ahead of us also had a dead cart and didn’t want us to play through. In the end that didn’t matter because by the time we got to the par 3 17th we were the fourth group on the teebox. Course and greens, GREAT. On course interaction with staff and pace of play killed the experience though.

Great course

Course went thru renovations and it's a great layout. Last 5 holes play tough and the par 3 17 is a great final 2 hole.

Nice views but below average course conditions

Enjoyable course with nice layout and views but I was expecting better course conditions. Greens were rough.
