Staff was extremely friendly. Course layout was very conducive for all skill levels. Excellent tee boxes and greens.

The only thing that made the experience slightly disappointing was that there has been monsoon like conditions which is usual at this time of year and there were several waterlogged fairways.

I would definitely like to play this course again in better conditions.

I would hope they don’t keep it in the state it was in yesterday but the course should have been closed. The greens and tee boxes were terrible. It was cart path only but somehow the fairways were completely chewed up from the rain. Most holes you were better off in the rough than the fairway due to the conditions. Was a complete waste and wish they would have told us conditions before we went out there.

Definitely a fun course, especially when you only have room for 9. Very accommodating to kids learning the game. Actually more challenging than expected with slightly narrower fairways.

We had a decent time at The Palm Golf Course and overall enjoyed our experience. The staff were exceptional—very attentive, friendly, and professional. The marshal stood out, offering helpful tips to improve our game and checking in regularly to ensure we were comfortable. Given the heat, their thoughtfulness in providing cold towels throughout our round was greatly appreciated.

The course itself was mostly in good shape, though a couple of greens were noticeably sandy, which affected the ball’s roll. There were also some flooded areas, likely due to heavy rain the night before, but these were minor drawbacks. Despite these issues, the layout and overall experience made for a great day on the course. We’d definitely return, thanks to the outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere!

I recently organized a golf weekend at Lake Buena Vista for a friend’s birthday — it was our group’s first time playing a Disney course, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming and frustrating.

While the fairways were in fair condition, the greens were in noticeably poor shape — patchy, uneven, and simply not maintained to the level expected from a Disney property. For a resort known for its high standards, the state of the greens was disappointing and frankly embarrassing given the occasion.

The problems didn’t end there. The golf cart we were assigned broke down right as we entered the first fairway. We were then informed that the course had been having GPS issues all day — yet carts were still being sent out with the GPS systems enabled, even though staff couldn’t confirm whether the problems were resolved. This avoidable oversight caused delays in our round and forced us to rush to avoid holding up the group behind us — not the relaxing golf experience we were expecting.

To top it off, the course runs alongside the waterway, and the constant, unnecessary blaring of horns from the water taxis was incredibly irritating. Even when it was clear there was no traffic coming in the opposite direction, the horns kept sounding, disrupting the flow and adding to an already frustrating day.

For what should have been a special and memorable introduction to Disney Golf, LBV fell short in multiple areas. I hope these issues are addressed soon, because the potential is there — but the current experience simply doesn’t live up to the Disney name.

Very fun course. Great condition. Free range balls to warm up is a plus. Nice cart. We had some first time golfers in front of us that slowed it down. Heard that happens a lot. Also check the weather if playing in the afternoon in Florida.

Played this course a lot they was seeding the greens but very patchy greens but still fast needs some work to catch up but no doubt will be ready in a month or two.

We had a great time playing here during our recent trip to Orlando! The course layout is excellent, with well-placed tees that make for an enjoyable and challenging round. The staff is incredibly friendly, always welcoming and helpful, which really enhances the experience.

However, the condition of the greens left something to be desired, especially in the summertime. Some greens were dry, bumpy, and had patches of brown, dying grass, which affected playability. The overall upkeep of the facility felt a bit so-so, but it didn’t overshadow the fun we had.

Despite the greens, we love coming back here every time we visit Orlando. With a little TLC, this course could easily be a top-tier destination. Highly recommend for the layout and great staff!

This course was crowded and the pace of play was slow. But the course is in nice shape, It has a great layout. We caught a hot deal on Golf Now so we got good value for the price. Will head back again.
