Wailea Golf Resorts (Maui)

Great course for couples, pretty wide open with amazing views. Course was in great shape, greens were tough, general rule of thumb stay short on most holes, sloping back to front.

Fun and challenging layout...with each hole offering a different look.

My Maui fave..

The Old Blue has become my favourite course on Maui, now that Makena North is closed for major renovation. This is simply a beautiful old track. Wide fairways, great variety of holes, and beautifully maintained. You would score better if the greens weren't so tricky. They're in great shape, but lots of subtleties in them makes you happy to two putt. It's well worth the $80 GolfNow price I paid.

This is a great course with plenty of challenge... if you can keep your concentration off the spectacular views. The greens are in great shape and take some real interpretation to avoid the 3-putts.

My wife drove the cart & kept score but got bored by hole #9, which is very unusual for her. She found one of the three men I played with to be very rude, so she gave up and returned to the bar while I played the back nine. I enjoyed the game. Tom was a great partner to ride along with. Aloha!!~

We enjoyed the course very much unfortunately the welcoming female staff at the pro shop was not friendly at all.

Yes, it is expensive. But a round on this beautiful course with it's breathtaking views and fine layout through an ancient lava flow is worth every dollar. This is like playing in paradise.

Fabulous! Everything about the Wailea Emerald course was an excellent experience. The course is well maintained and everyone associated with the facility were very helpful. It was my first time to play the course and I would play it again in a New York minute. I was offered a tip about reading the greens, which helped everyone in our foursome except me. Tip: All the greens slope away from the ocean. Even though it appears to slope toward the ocean, the ball rolls the other way. I had a lot of trouble on the green with both sloop and pace. However, I had a great golf experience.

Same day booking on Golf Now, could not believe the deal. Course was in Outstanding condition! Fun to play, beautiful views, and pace was OK for a resort course.

Not inexpensive, but definitely worth playing! The most beautiful course I've ever played and pristinely maintained. Staff was cordial, starter was extremely helpful and friendly. Course is challenging, but not unforgiving. Hope you enjoy bunker play - there are lots out there!

The course was in great shape. Prior to play make sure you understand the burned edge of cup green reading technique.

My wife and I enjoy this course as it is wide open and challenging at the same time. We'll be back!

Grumpy old guy in pro shop should retire, took shine off of what was a great experience.

All aspects of course were good. Great vistas of the Pacific from most holes. Pace of play was good. The GolfNow rate made it more enjoyable. Course design required the use of all clubs and shot shapes.

This is the first time I played the Gold Course. I have played the Emerald Course several times. I thought it was just a little more challenging than the Emerald Course, mostly due to more sand traps. Pace of play was good, with several nice views of the ocean. Will be playing the course again in December.

The course was in good shape. The greens we in great shape. I should have played the blue tees as the course was playing to short from the whites. The course is a great value thru GolfNow and a great place for couples to play.

A wonderful afternoon at Wailea Gold included amazing views, great course layout and excellent assistance. Fun was had by all. The only complaint would be the difficulty in finding a reasonable cost which Golf Now helped with.

The Emerald course has stunning views of the Maui shorelines and surrounding islands. The course itself is beautifully landscaped and in pristine condition.

As a beginning player I found the course fun and challenging and well suited for players of all levels.
