Nice
Beautiful course, awesome views will definitely be back
Spectacular
Greens and Fairways were spectacular. Areas around the greens and the roof was not so great. Bring some extra balls if you're not a low handicapper. The views were spectacular.
Dale hollow golf
Worth playing beautiful corse
Fantastic course!
This was on my bucket list of courses to play here in Kentucky! And it was worth it! I played from the back tees because I'm a glutton for punishment! And boy did I get punished, but well worth it. The course's layout is phenomenal and built well into the natural landscape. It was one of the hardest courses I've ever played! And just like a bait to a dumb bass, I'm hooked snd will play it again! Great value for the price!
Well worth the trip
As soon as they finish repairing the bunker you will not find a better place any where for the money.
GNgolfer
The coarse is in good shape and has an awsome layout. The greens a little on the slow side...bunkers are not kept in good condition (rocks washout ect...) but overall if you like tight fairways and a challenge it's fine coarse to play
A great Round and a low price
I wish this was my home course. The course was in great condition even after heavy rain. Well maintained, the greens were pristine. The terrain is very challenging and extremely interesting. Stay on the fairways or bring lots of ammunition !. Beautiful vistas and wild life everywhere.
Best course I have played in years.
Beautiful course
The scenery and views alone were worth the price. The course was in excellent shape one of the best courses I've played in the whole state
Very Scenic Course
This is one of the most scenic courses I have played. The layout is great but challenging. Some bunkers needed attention and I like others did have trouble with the greens being slow but that probably saved me in some instances. Other than those issues we had a great day of golf. I will be returning. One of my favorite courses.
A must play!
I've played here several times, always a pleasure! Tees were being aerated on this day, didn't seem to be a problem. One of the best golf courses in Ky. Lots of elevation changes, great par 3's, bring some extra balls, and always play the fairway. A well positioned shot is almost always better than a long shot. 5 sets of tees to fit anyone's game. A little out of the way but well worth the trip!
Good course for the money
First time played this course and it will not be the last. Very fine staff as everyone was very friendly. The course was in super condition with it being late fall. Greens top notch. Great scenery.
A must for any golfer. Well designed.
Sand Save
Overall a good course. Rating would be greatly improved if the bunkers were in better condition. We've played here the last 3 or 4 years and the bunkers have declined every year. Gotta keep it in the fairways which are always in good shape. The staff is great. Par 3's can challenge with forced carry.
beautiful coarse
a beautiful course the fairways and greens was in great shape the only problem is several of the sand bunkers was washed out from all the rain they had in the spring but they was repairing them now
Great Municipal, slightly above average overall
This course is one of the best municipal courses I've played but isn't a 5 star course. The course was very hilly (probably a little too hilly, it would be extremely hard to walk). They do a very good job with their budget in terms of keeping it in good shape. Fairways and greens are slow but at least they have grass on both.
Outstanding course
This course is a hidden gem. Played in the mid afternoon and pace of play was perfect. The zosia fairways were awesome - perfect lies. Friendly staff. Lots of elevation changes. Greens rolled well. Will play here again.
Course was in good condition.
Great course. Had a lot of rain but held up well. Greens were somewhat slow. Enjoyed my round and will return.
Awesome
This is a awesome course. Very well maintained and in great shape including the cart paths. The fairways actually help poor golfers to hit better because they are in excellent shape. There are challenges EVERYWHERE so you have to be on top of your game.
This course was very challenging, and alot of fun to play.
Outstanding course to play. I would have rated the course as excellent, but they have a number of sand traps under repair. There are approx. 65 sand traps on this course, both fairway traps and traps around the greens. I would highly recommend this course. There are five tee positions, giving you a number of options to play. You may want to bring an extra sleeve of balls, as this course has a number of holes with woods, water and/or high grass
Slow play bad bunkers
I have played this course several times in previous years and like it so much that i had to come back. We played on Friday and Saturday and overall the course was fair. On Friday the pace of play was good but on Saturday the clubhouse staff let a 6 some and a young child who hit only occasionally play and by the time we caught them we waited and waited and waited!!!!! By the time we got to the 10 tee box the group behind us was hitting into us like it was our slow play holding them up. There was no sign of a ranger and we finally had 2 groups of 4 on the 10 tee with the slow play group in the fairway. Never saw anything like it. I usually don't try to leave bad reviews but i'm hoping somebody who works there will see this and take notice. One more thing, the bunkers were TERRIBLE. If we hit in one we played it as ground under repair. Clubhouse has nothing but sandwiches. Not even a hot dog!
Scenic but green speeds were excruciatingly slow
The course could be really nice. The zoysia fairways are awesome. I played on June 21st and the temps were in low 90's. Understanding the greens are bent grass (and that bentgrass is not the most heat tolerant grass); but, they have bentgrass greens as far south as Macon, GA. These were the slowest greens I've ever putted. By my estimations, they rolled at about an 7.5 - 8 on the stimp meter. They simply don't cut them low enough; they had plenty of grass on them. At the very least, the could be rolled to make them more of an average speed. I know they've gotten a lot of rain; so, I'll give this course a pass on the bunkers as they were all either under repair or washed out. I would hope the greens roll a lot better in the fall, winter, and spring.
