Dale Hollow Lake State Park Resort

One of the nicest courses that I have played all year. Excellent fairway and smooth greens. Very well maintained.

Although it is almost a two hour drive for us we enjoy the challenge of this course.

Today it was really hot and the slow play about killed us. I am not sure why when there is a foursome and no one in front of them , why they don’t offer to let a twosome play thru, we finally went around them. We were glad we did as when we were on 18 they were 5 holes back. Tee boxes were bad!

From the time you arrive and peak over the hill behind the clubhouse to see the daunting uphill approach to 18, you feel you've made a good choice to see this golf course. Lots of elevated tees producing some wonderful vistas. Design of course is top notch. Greens in good shape though slow. Our group felt that they kept them slow in order to assist them in surviving the summer because they are bent grass. Just a guess. Only knocks were some tee boxes were closed. Looked like they were being redone (I hope). Also about half the bunkers on the course are waiting for new sand. Even with just dirt, they still look great due to the design of the course. Still give it five stars with half the bunkers and tee boxes out of commision so I hope that says something. Will definitely be back hoping that the bunkers are filled in and the tee boxes are all open to take my 5 stars to 5.5!!

Made a trip down to this course the past few summers. It is great layout and when we first started coming it was a great course. This time the greens were great just really slow!! Some of the slowest I have ever played! They still have not fixed the bunkers and looks like they have just given up on fixing some of the others!! They have also sprayed and killed over half of their tee boxes! Not quiet sure why or what their plan is with that. Over all it’s a great course with great layout just really bad turf management!!

Played for the first time, weather was very hot but course has natural forest so lots of shade to be found. The layout is top tier with the best courses I have ever played, a finishing hole that is memorable, a par 3 straight downhill, bunkers abound and challenging shots for any difficulty. I would definitely recommend to a friend and will be back to play again for sure.

the course was in great shape the greens and fairway was in great shape the only bad thing wrong with the course now is the sandtraps are still in bad shape they are rebuilding them and putting in white sand but several are washed out from the heavy rains they had they are rebuilding them as fast as the state will allow the course is still a great value and will play it a lot more

Several of the sand traps marked ground under repair but other than that it was great

Came down for one of the 3 or 4 camping / golf trips that I do annually. As always, the course was in great shape and absolutely beautiful. The staff at the clubhouse is always very friendly and act like they are glad to see you. If they would speed the greens up a little, I would rate it 6 stars out of 5. This is a BEAUTIFUL place. The campground is very nice as well.

Beautiful course cut into the mountains of Southern Kentucky.. Extremely challenging with greens that are impossible to read.

The best state park that I have ever played! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The course was in great shape. The course is playable for all levels from the three times a year golfer to the three times a week golfer. If you have time the lunch and dinner at the lodge are outstanding!

Challenging but fun layout. Course was in great shape for this time of year and staff was very friendly.

This was the third time we have came down for a golf / camping trip. Course layout is wonderful and the club house staff is very friendly and a lot of fun!

This is my favorite course in the state that I have played. That's out of 30+ courses. We will be back many times. Mow the greens please!
