FAIRWAYS VERY THIN
I paid $25 on a Hot Deal to play here. If I would have paid more the course would not have been worth it. Greens in good shape but Tee boxes and fairways are very thin. Played 6 course in the LV area in last 10 days and I rate this the worst. When the grass gets thicker if ever this would be a great course but not today. Time of play very slow, took 5 hours. Marshall showed up on the 13th to get the slow foursome out of the way
Primm Valley Golf Club - Lakes Course
Golfnow is my only booking service. The course and pace of play were very good and a the weather was great for mid February. I'm looking forward to my next round.......
Fun Day
Played with a friend. We (2 women) were paired with 2 very nice men who were gentleman and very respectful. They were fun and that coupled with a great course made the day very enjoyable.
Used to be fantastic, not so much now.
First played here ten years ago. Once you figure out the designed landing areas course becomes easier. The condition of this course has turned from lush and green to grass that's barely alive. You can thank the drought for this. Got a good deal on golfnow at 2:30 pm. They let us go sooner since the Desert course was less played. I really appreciate that. We were able to finish 16 holes by 5:30 sunset. At full price not worth it but for a deal it is.
GREAT COURSE
We really enjoyed playing this course, there were some challenging holes, i would go back and play it again. The only downfall was that there was a foresome in front of us that were playing very slowly and did not have any consideration to let our group play through.
FUN LAYOUT. CHALLENGING GREENS.
I played the course on the way to Las Vegas. I got a really good deal on my tee time, and was very pleased with the round. From tee to green, the course varies in condition from acceptable to very good. There are some thin spots in the rough and a few rocks in the bunkers, but nothing serious enough to shed any tears. The greens were nice. I had trouble judging their speed, probably owing to the prevailing grain. A nice Fazio layout with lots of water, but a fair amount of room.
Challenging but fair.
Totally enjoyed the course layout. Greens can be tricky but not impossible. Course maintenance very good.
fairways thin lies,, greens average-good
most of the reviews praised the condition of this course? I would agree that the greens were not bad but the fairways offered very thin lies. Overall I would say a good value course for $30
Women golf too
The pasta salad was so full of vinegar it wasn't edible. All we got was "sorry bout that" when we walked to the bar to get a refill on our drinks because nobody came back to the table. All the men in the restaurant were Vista by the waitress several times as well as the men at the bar. I realize that golf has always been for the boys but some women love golf, we have careers and make very good $. I would have left a big tip had the staff realized that.
Awesome course
Awesome price for this cours . Got the golf now deal of 29 bucks and worth every penny.
This course is good
This course is in a ok condition some fairway is not as it should be and some green is not as it should be...
Always worth it for a good deal.
This was my 3rd or 4th time playing there over the past few years and it's always been a good time. Fair and interesting layout, good shape and a great value compared to other Vegas courses. Solid facility all the way around, including a helpful and friendly staff. I look forward to my next round there.
Awesome
great course great staff great value what else can you have to say.
This is a great golf course!
Played as a threesome and had a great time. $100/pp, but on golf now $35/pp. This is always on our must list when visiting Vegas!
Great course
Course is in good condition pace af play great. Finished just over 4 hours.
Worth the Trip
I've played a few times there. It's off season, and I wasn't expecting the course to be in perfect condition...and it wasn't. But, it was in great condition for the time of year.
The Lakes course is a great track. It's not really long, but it is challenging. I'd play there more frequently if it was a little closer.
It's a worthy course to make the effort to play.
Another Fine Round
A pleasant getaway. I like the Lakes course as it avoids the desert hard pan, Things are interesting off the tee with options for all levels of golfers to test their courage (driving bunkers, cutting dogleg corners and driving water). The greens are very large which can forgive the errant wedge approach or the recovery from the courageous drive attempt. Expect to play here often with great prices.
What's up?
I have been playing this course for many years, just keeps going down in playability. Great course, poor maintenance?
Better odds than the slots
Liked the wide fairways and info on GPS. Great view and worth setting in bar to view the mountains. Rains came and disappointment could not finish.
Legit
Getting there was a little tricky. It's about 5 miles past where the resort is. Once we found it we were greeted at the bag drop. They gave us range balls to hit, water in the carts and towels. Really nice course. Good greens. Great value for the money especially if you get a deal on golf now.
