Worth the drive
It had been about 10 years since I last played this course, so when I booked a $23 time for what I had known to be a good course, I was worried that condition would be off. Surprisingly, course was still in great shape, and had a great day. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive out there.
Always Enjoyable
It''s always worth the drive down to Primm. Was booked on the Desert Course, but they put me on Lakes. Both are well-designed and challenging, but not crazy penal. The greens were excellent. Fairways and tees fine. There were a few Yahoos far ahead of us whom we eventually caught, but still the round was under four hours.
The condition can be improved
The course is quite far away from the strip and truly is in the middle of nowhere. While the the course seems to be well designed but the upkeep can be improved. the grass is somewhat parched the green is fast because lack of water. The players in front of us were too slow and there is no staff to correct the situation.
The price thru the Golfnow.com is excelletnt though they try to make up by charging the golf range balls for $5.
Primm Lakes Course
The facility has all the makings, for a primarily, upper scale clientele. If I managed the course, I would get with the owners and completely restore Tom Fazio's Gem, to upper class shape, and keep it that way. Charge more to play it, then, let the condition of the course speak for itself. I would be happy to pay more and receive a unique golf experience, with outstanding conditions, and world class service.

Amazing layout
Course has an amazing layout...Fairways were thin and tight and greens were a little slow but rolled true...
Lakes course is a nice layout
Played on a day it rained. we were lucky it stopped when we started and didn't start again until 18th hole. Fairways are looking better. Greens in great shape. A few holes are cart path only for no apparent reason with a very long walk to middle of fairway. Bunkers had good sand. Worth playing!
An oasis, literally...
I enjoyed the pace and the atmosphere. Course was challenging enough and fun (black tee). If this was anywhere else closer to civilization, I'd come to play here often. If you're going to go here specifically, make sure to play both courses.
very nice course out of the way
not a long drive from Vegas, we played the desert course in 2013, and were impressed, wanted to try this one and were not disappointed, got a great rate on golf now for 3 pm tee time and they let us go shortly after 2, excellent staff, will play there again for sure,
A gem
This course is very very good and better than other more expensive courses in the area. The bent greens are fast and true. with every hole superbly designed by Fazio. We had a greeting second to none by the very knowledgeable staff. ill never forget this experience. Well worth the short drive fron Vegas.
Best value around..,well worth the drive
Great course and one of the best values around. I have played this a few times as a single and always get paired up with great company. Highly recommend the course!
December Golf
Primm is always a beautiful place to play. Two courses to chose from, staff is great, the cart girl is cute, the courses are pretty open and you can play from trouble. The tee time was 10:50 for $20. They let me chose what course i wanted to play because it wasn't crowded. Played as a twosome and pace of play was great.
Beautiful
Wow this course was beautiful and challenging the layout was awesome and the greens were perfect
Love. This
Beautiful challenging course. This course is a gem and the entire facility is outstanding
Great bargain
Nice course and always in good shape. However we are 6 for 6 in clubs falling off cart, 1/2 our fault for not checking after golf attendant put them on cart. Staff is always friendly, just check secure straps always .
golf nut
great courses, love to play there and staff is great
Worth the trip. Great Value.
First round of the holiday. Great choice. With 36 holes pace of play was excellent. Less than 3.5 hrs, Greens in great shape. Fairways nice. Rough was going dormant but I assume that is normal for this time of the year. drove from the Vegas strip, just 1/2 an hour from I 15. If you have a car and a little time it's well worth the drive. Great value through GolfNow.
Very nice layout
Unfortunately, the fairways haven't recovered from their problems. Grass is nice and green but clumpy patches. We played preferred lies in fairway and all was good. Greens in very good shape. Well worth the drive. Staff very friendly.
Great course
Hooked up on a special on Golf18 that made the drive to Primm a really good deal. Paired up with 2 really nice gentlemen who made the round a lot of fun for wife and I. Only downside was the 4 yahoo's who were either totally drunk or so rude that they couldn't keep a decent pace of play. Standing on tee box for 10 minutes for them to make their second shot was crazy. At the turn made mention it to the staff and a word was spoken to them and they magically knocked 30 minutes off the back 9. Great weather and a great golf course made this a fantastic day in spite of rude 4 some in front of us.
Nice course on the way back to LA
Stopped by for a round on my way back to LA. I played lake yesterday. I think desert course is more interesting and a bitore challenging than lakes. Everything is pretty good except the POP. We were stuck behind a group of three some who had no idea how slow they were. By the 8th hole, the group in front of them already finished 11th ( the 11th green is next to 8th tee box). There was not marshal to police the pace. And the group in front didn't care and taking their sweet moments plumb bobing every put like it was Sunday after at the Masters. We finally fed up and skipped the 9th par 3, and jumped in front to finish back nine in 1.5 hours. The rough are yellow, but fairways and greens are all green which make a good contrast. A few bunkers need sands. I will play them again next time visiting Vegas...
First time. Research the address!!!
Used google for the address. Sent me to Las Vegas not CA!!
Other than that, great course, not too hard but, challenging enough. Will come back on my next trip.
