Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised by the course and property! Great amenities, except golf range, it was bad mat turf, hard as a rock. Basically have a better range and fix the bunkers and you get 5 stars easy. Some of the bunkers had grass growing in them and were hard, except for the ones you can see from the clubhouse, those ones had nice new white sand, LOL!
Great layout, and difficult, par 3 over lake 221 yards into the wind isn’t your normal par 3!!!!, Marsh areas surprised us being that we were in the desert of Nevada we thought?? Some tough pin positions on very sloped greens.
I would play it again.
Love the Hills!
Best round this summer! Loved the course! Great conditions. Saw some wildlife (Antelope). Amazing views! Greens were in excellent condition! Fantastic!
Very nice course
First time playing at Red Hawk played the hills course. We started the morning having a great breakfast at David’s and checked into the golf shop. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Course played well and the greens were fast. We will play at Red Hawk again might try the Lake course next time.
Nice Course
The only negative about this course is the bunkers need sand in them. A few had none and several others the sand was a bit sparse.
Lakes Course
We really like this course. Fairways are in very good condition. Greens are excellent and rolling fast. Sand areas need a lot of work. They have dusting of sand with hard dirt base. Gravel and large rocks are mixed in with the sand. Also hit a large rock in the base dirt on one sand shot. Started playing sand as lateral drop. For a Troon facility they should be in better condition.
Redhawk Lakes
For $37 it was a fair price considering the course condition. Several bunkers had virtually no sand and there were several bare areas around the greens and tee boxes. Definitely not a bargain at the full rack rate.
Great corse
Corse was in good shape greens were good fairways were good. I didn’t play well but had a great time.
Not worth the money
The course itself is in decent condition. At over 100 bucks a round, I’d rather play in Tahoe. This place is clearly trying to reimburse themselves for the new golf carts, employee uniforms and new pavers at the driving range. Beyond these items, nothing justifies the insane cost.
