Great course! Tough hazards and definitely not the kind of course for beginners but overall manageable for slightly more experienced golfers.
Love this course!
I love this course! Its close to my house, its a great value, its right at my skill leavel and the course itself is fun. The carts are plush with GPS, and the people are friendly. I was paierd with a couple who were VERY slow and just learning. There was no body ahead of us so after a few holes I politley played ahead of my asigned group. I think we were bothh much happier after that.
Try Eagle Ridge instead
They opened at 8am, I had a tee time booked for 8:32. I got there on time and had checked in. By the time the starter let me go, was already a group waiting to tee off, and another group who had just teed off. I got to finally tee off at 8:55
First nine took 2.5 hours, I called it after 12 holes as I had a flight to catch. There was no Marshall.
For the price it is simply not worth playing here on a weekend.
Not a true resort course
It's a fine track, but the overall experience is not resort-worthy. Check-in was not very friendly or helpful unless you asked all the questions you needed to ask, no one to take your clubs and put it on your cart, and a driving range that was embarrassing. Terrible mats and yellow, bad condition range balls are what you will get once you drive all the way over to the practice facility. The course is in pretty good shape and the layout is nice, but a very far cry from a resort.
Amazing day with friends
This place is one of my all time favorites. The Lakes course is a real treat. epic afternoon. course was in very good shape. Bunkers are very firm and crunchy. Do yourself a favor and pick up your ball in the traps, rake the sand then replace you ball and then hit. Otherwise you are trying to hit out of concrete. The back nine layout is amazing with lots of natural wetlands. Ill be back in a month. They also ran a special for every tee time booked after 2pm each golfer gets 3 free Budweiser or Bud light cans. Now that was a nice touch!
too long
I like the course,,it was in fairly good shape. The weather was close to rain all day. It was windy off and on, and we waited on every tee box until the 14th. Golf is golf and I played with my buddies and had fun.
Golf
Staff and course great. Pace of play awesome on the front, not so good on the back. Overall nice day to play golf.
Shot 79! Great golf day!
Greens and fairways were great! We had over cast, so the weather was just right. Nothing to complain about!
Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised by the course and property! Great amenities, except golf range, it was bad mat turf, hard as a rock. Basically have a better range and fix the bunkers and you get 5 stars easy. Some of the bunkers had grass growing in them and were hard, except for the ones you can see from the clubhouse, those ones had nice new white sand, LOL!
Great layout, and difficult, par 3 over lake 221 yards into the wind isn’t your normal par 3!!!!, Marsh areas surprised us being that we were in the desert of Nevada we thought?? Some tough pin positions on very sloped greens.
I would play it again.
Love the Hills!
Best round this summer! Loved the course! Great conditions. Saw some wildlife (Antelope). Amazing views! Greens were in excellent condition! Fantastic!
