This course qualifies one of top favorites in Nevada.
The course layouts were exceptional along with great greens that had great roll when putting.
Staff was very professional. The golf carts were the BEST I have ever encounter.
The price was excellent, too
Great place.
It was a great day and a beautiful place to play. A little spendy on the drinks but with the carts and extras and staff, makes it worth it!!!
Great golf outing
We were able to schedule this course on Golfnow.com. The staff at the course was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The views were fantastic. We will definitely try to arrange golf here the next time we are in Reno. The next time we plan to play the back tees just to be able to say we played a 700 yard Par 5!
Great value
Course was in excellent shape and have 5 different tees for players of any level to enjoy. Clubhouse staff was very helpful. Great course for the price we paid on Golf Now.
Red Hawk Resort Hills Course
I was scheduled to play the Lakes Course, but was bumped to the private Hills Course due to a tournament...lucky me :)
Nice course with challenging terrain. The hills made some of my tee shots roll an additional 20+ yards! Beautiful course, great value.
Fun
nice course had fun, would not walk for fun it would be a huge work out. Did not like # 10 at all
Wind
we teed off at 10:00 a m it was 51 degrees and it felt like at least 25 m p h winds. So tough weather course was nice sand traps fair to poor and its a Robert Trent Jones junior course so there are lots of traps. With that wind I am sure its difficult keeping sand in them. But that needs to be addressed.
Windy
It was extremely windy. Made the coarse more difficult. Still a great coarse though.
Enjoyable course to play
In very good condition for early Spring, and pace of play was very good
nice layout
awesome layout will definately play again i really like all the water hazards on this coarse despite the windy day when i played
perfect
Highly recommend Fast play great greens Great views couldnt be better
great course... but not convenient..
Great Weather, and staff BUT
played the Hills course.....which never comes back to clubhouse...
no water or anything to drink or eat on the course..
no food or beverage cart.. no carts in the parking lot
no coolers allowed to put anything in.. bought a domestic 6 pack for $29 including tip.. packed in a plastic bag supposed to last 4.5 hours? ice was gone
by nine.. tip..... pack your own food and drink stuff them in your bag & plan to drink warm whatever on the back.... a shame for a nice course... wont be back soon..just because of that..
Even though breakast and staff were great...
Fun course
This is one of the best rounds I played. It was a good pace throughout the round. The course was in really good shape for this time of year.
won't happen again
not good, when i got there the lakes course was
closed..... i was playing with the wife and wanted the flatter course, they put us on the hills course... up and down the fairways & hills, cart paths only.....
by the way we're in our early 70's
Good, moderately challenging course
Have played the course quite a few times and it has always been in good condition as it was this time.
February Golf
Course was in good shape for February. Greens rolled nice.
second time for bad experience
I did enjoy to play this course. The course was maintained and well designed. So I played there several times.
But I had a bad experience with the staffs due to dead cart before.
Last Sunday, I came there with my dad(78 years old). When we started playing at the 1st hole, we realized that the course had 'Cart Path Only' that day.
When I did purchase the deal, there was no mention about that. And they didn't let us know that when we checked in.
My dad had a hard time to play there and then.
If I know the course had that condition, I was not going to buy the deal. There was another deal which was cheaper and having cart access fully.
That was so bad...
great time
Played both courses and thought lakes would be tough with water but it was set up great and played fair. Great conditions heading into the winter months..
excellent views and forgiving fairways
staff was very friendly, and people we hooked up with were a treat. Greens had been punched (mid October) and posed some tiny bumps ~ but thats expected whenever you punch greens. Fairways in excellent condition and the facility was full of amenities (restaurant, lounge, range, putting practice)
**I will return back again next year when on vacation
As always this is a great course
The fair ways and greens were immaculate. This was a rather chilly day so our round was completed in 3 hours. The outstanding value well compensated for the chill.
