Crystal Springs Resort
About Crystal Springs Resort
Crystal Springs Resort is a 4,000-acre playground located only an hour across the New Jersey state line from New York City. It is one of the country’s largest golf resorts with six courses - Ballyowen, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs, Minerals and Wild Turkey – and three driving ranges. The Grand Cascades Lodge houses 220 guest rooms with an inspired welcome: An outdoor putting course leading to an indoor lobby with high ceilings, wood beams and a stone fireplace. Both it and the 175-room Minerals Hotel feature their own spas and pools. Children will love the Biosphere, an indoor pool complex with an aquarium, vortex pool and caves, 140-foot waterslide and café, all in a tropical theme. Twelve restaurants are spread out among the course clubhouses and hotels, delivering a variety of menus and price points. Between the Mineral Sports Club and Adventure Center, there’s always a new activity or program to enjoy.Facts

Great course condition nice staff. Would like to come back.
Nice
Pretty tight course. Good condition. Greens were a little slow.
Great course
Second time playing this course and it was well worth it
Great value and a lot of fun.
Still super early in the season - aerated greens!
Aside from the aerated greens, the grounds were perfect. Kudos to the groundskeepers, who are also super friendly when playing first thing in the morning. One of my only complaints is that the carts can be hit or miss. You can either get a cart that drives nicely or you can get one that won’t go more than walking pace or the tie-rods are shot and the steering is terrifying. Aside from that, I always have a lovely round at Cascades and will continue to come back!
Good course / great value
Course in ok shape for time of the year.
Great course to play while tuning up your game. Allows you to experiment with clubs yiu may not use often.
Bunkers were hard & not really playable. Greens had been aerated & not yet ready to access your real putting.
Challenging
Beautiful place with inspiring views. Definitely a challenging course. Played between bogie and double bogie golf but definitely proud of my play on such a challenging course.
Great Shape and Challenging Course !
The day of Pace were very slow. But they have a nice shape and good challenging course !
All Staffs were very friendly .
I love there course !
Huge scale
Never easy but enjoyable
Long distance course
Perfect condition
Nice view
Will comeback again
5***** star golf course
Amazing awesome nice condition
Delicious food
Very kindly staffs
Layout is gorgeous
No complaints this place
I was 1hour 40 min drive but
Black bear is deserved
Course is getting better
Compared to two weeks ago, the course had dried out well and carts on fairways
Greens still pretty bumpy after being aerated two weeks ago
Will be another 2 weeks until decent
They give you practice balls included but the ball machine was empty yet again
Slow round.. We hit off 15 minutes late and took over 5 hours
13 dollars for brat at halfway house... seems expensive to me
Part of that is just it is a hard course and too many beginner players that would have more fun at black bear
Needs TLC
The greens were aerated and they didnt mention it when I made the tee time. They should either mention it or provide a discount. The course wasnt in great shape. . There was damage on a couple of the greens and large pot holes on some of the cart paths. Some of the bunkers were under construction. Not what you would expect from a high end course.
