About Sea Trail Resort Villas
The Sea Trail Resort Villas are located north of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and south of Wilmington, N.C. The property sprawls across 2,600 acres and features three championship golf courses. Villas span from one to four bedrooms in size and are equipped with full kitchens, all within 1.5 miles from the barrier island beaches. Indoor and outdoor pools are available to guests at the activity center, which also includes a game room, shuffleboard and more. Units feature a screened-in porch or balcony. Stay-and-play golf packages are available to Sea Trail Golf Club's Rees Jones, Dan Maples and Willard Byrd golf courses. Sea Trail has two clubhouses with driving ranges, putting greens and a PGA-sanctioned learning center.Facts

Review of sea trails Dan Maple
Fairways we're good condition as we're the greens. 4 hrs to play the round with no major hold ups. Previous reviews say cart paths were bad condition and they are. We didn't have any problems since we slowed down in bad areas and had no problems. Club house was small with few amenities but that isn't why we played there. It was an enjoyable experience.
Better options in the area
Course conditions were not great. Patchy greens and numerous bunkers with tarps coming through. Tee boxes also could use a mow. Along with that, the disorganization at the bag drop was absurd. Understood it was a fairly busy day, but waited ten minutes before having to ask for help as the crew seemed to not be able figure it out. On top of that. Facilities seem to be run down. Door handles at the bathrooms on the backside would even unlock or open. Highly unlikely I will return to play

Beautiful Course
This could be a $80 dollar course honestly
Very challenging, if you don’t hit the fairways you will be in trouble. Greens are starting to flourish so they aren’t fully grown in but still roll true.

Poor condition
Cart paths need to be repaired. Greens are very small. A lot of bare spots. Course very crowded.

Nice experience of golfing
We enjoyed golfing at Sea Trail Byrd on St. Patrick Day 2023. The course has a nice layout. It is challenging but fair. We played in the afternoon so it did not seem to be too busy and pace of play was good..
Good service and anemities and a great golf experience. Excellent value for money.
We definitely want to play it again on our next visit to Myrtle Beach.
