About Sea Trail Resort Villas
The Sea Trail Resort Villas are located north of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and south of Wilmington, N.C. The property sprawls across 2,600 acres and features three championship golf courses. Villas span from one to four bedrooms in size and are equipped with full kitchens, all within 1.5 miles from the barrier island beaches. Indoor and outdoor pools are available to guests at the activity center, which also includes a game room, shuffleboard and more. Units feature a screened-in porch or balcony. Stay-and-play golf packages are available to Sea Trail Golf Club's Rees Jones, Dan Maples and Willard Byrd golf courses. Sea Trail has two clubhouses with driving ranges, putting greens and a PGA-sanctioned learning center.Facts

Course in great condition
Course was beautiful. Fairways were lush, tee boxes and greens well maintained. The only problem we had was a couple of groups of four that ignored proper golf etiquette. We were a group of three with an experienced group of four in front of us who played efficiently and should have been allowed to play through at least one of those two groups . The two groups in front of them were taking extra shots, slow play, etc. Marshall was called but never came out, so we all suffered as a domino effect. Many times we had to wait together, watching the other two groups lazily play as if they were the only groups on the course on this busy day.

Very Nice Well Kept
Very nice well kept challenging course, good for intermediate/above average beginner players. Tee boxes were on point, green were very nice well kept fun and challenging!
Will highly recommend this course and definitely play again!
Beverage cart girl does not start till 10am and only one cart for all 3 courses.
Nice grass driving rang ($5 a bucket), had a pitch and put (free), (free) bunker shot practice, and (free) putting green.

Great course
Great course in the Ocean Isle area. Fairways and tee-boxes were lush. Greens in great shape. Definitely would play again. Good value for the money.

Sea Trial Jones course
The courses layout was fantastic. Fairways are coming in nice. However the greens left a lot to be desired. Not sure how many putts I missed because of the conditions. Very very bumpie. They should not be charging $78 while the greens are this rough.
But the staff were really nice and helpful.

Byrd Course
Quite enjoyed the Byrd course. Saw a couple of very large gators - wouldn’t want to get very close to them. I would love to go back to play again but for some reason the price increased by almost $20 a round / not sure if it’s worth the price increase. Did very much enjoy the course though
