Talamore and Mid South Golf Resort

Great pace of play we finished right at 4 hours. Challenging but the wife and I thought it was great to play.

I was excited about playing a new track to me. We got behind a group that had 3 tee times. All good. First couple of holes were fine u til the 3rd fell way behind. We began waiting with them on every tee box. No groups in sight ahead. By hole 10 we got to the tee box at same time as that 3rd group. Then another 4some and then a 4th group all on hole 10 now. We called the pro shop. Told them the Thursday group was just now going to tee 11 and the other 2 groups were already playing 12. The pro shop even confirmed saying there’s 4 carts on 12. He said he would send a ranger. NEVER did anyone come out to check. We saw the slow group as did the groups right behind us for 8 holes. NO RANGER. It took us over 3 hours to play the back 9. Come on. At least make an attempt. That’s all we asked.

Great course great front 9 played out foursome in 90 minutes then took 3hrs to go back 9. They threw to many groups off 10 there without thought. A great day was diminished by that action.

Fun course, Slick sloped greens. Everyone was very nice. Would play again.

Beautiful course but difficult.

Great layout and plush fairways.

White tees were appx. 6000 yards but played like 7000 yards. Very nice patio scenery!

This course had received some recognition for its design although we were not particularly impressed. The course was in good shape but was top-dressed that day Sand and fertilizer over everything including the rock-hard greens. Extremely fast to the point of being absurd

Decent course, good value for this region, but pace of play could be better. Not sure if the sod bunkers really fit this design. Horrible back up on the 18th hole which put a damper on a pretty good day.

Was told this was a decent play to play but it wasn’t. Pace of play was slow but could be expected on a Saturday. What was unexpected was the poor conditions of the tee boxes and around the greens. Boxes were uneven and pretty burnt out. Course layout is fine but not worth what they especially with great options in the area

The course was great to play. But for the price I paid, this wasn't a "Resort" experience. The course condition was just average, carts came with no towels, no ball/club washers, and a basic GPS app. Tee box ball washers were empty. I recommend playing here, but don't pay full price.

I don’t normally pay $100 plus a round, but got a good deal via golfpass. Played at 10:40 so pace was good until 4th hole, ended 27 minutes behind. Greens were hard and fast, lots of slopes, so I had a lot of 3 putts. Course needed some rain or watering. Snack shack was closed. Some bunkers were impossible to get out, lucky I only hit 1 and to drop after two stokes to get out. I’d like to return sometime and try again, weather was near perfect, so I’ll play a Second round.
