About The Rock Barn Country Club & Spa
The Rock Barn Country Club & Spa, set within the foothills of western North Carolina, is part private club, part resort. The playing public has access to the Jackson Course, the Fresh Chef Cafe, lodging, event spaces for weddings/conferences and the spa, which is home to a saltwater pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms. Visitors must stay in a four-bedroom townhome (there are two) or the five-bedroom Lodge for access to the spa and course. Only members can use the tennis and fitness facilities, five other restaurants and the Jones Course, which has hosted the PGA Tour Champions.Facts

a sunny getaway
my buddies and I needed to get away for a round of golf before my radiation treatment. The Jackson course at Rock Barn was the answer. The weather was sunny and believe or not the conditions were great. Only 1 and 10 were cart path only. No where around the Charlotte, Rock Hill area was there any golf other than cart path only. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The range balls were part of the cost. Thank you again for a great round of golf with my pals at top of the line course.

Course was in good condition being it was the middle of winter. Greens were excellent and rolled true.

Great greens
Fairways, sand traps and roughs were in good condition. Greens held the approach shot, rolled true, and were moderately fast. Challenging course if played from the correct tees.

JR golf day
Pace of play influenced by jr tournament in front of me. Dble stacked tees on the back 9. Staff was super about the delay and compensated me for the lost golf. and they didn't have to do that. Bravo
