Great tract!!
Slow play killed a good day on the Jones course!!!
Great condition
Had a really good round but was very not pleased with no water provided on the course or ability to get any refreshments or the use of restrooms due to the on course facility closed. Very busy course not to have refreshments available
must play
This course is a must for any golf aficionado. The whole place is top notch all the way around and I can't wait to get back and play it again! I would highly recommend 18 at the Rock Barn.
Jackson Golf Course
Great Day on Course, Cold and Cloudy, Damp. Weather was terrible, course in great conditions, Fast Greens for Winter.
beautiful course layout
every hole is a well designed by itself as well as its challenge . It is a good course to bring a good friend or a good golf body.
Great Golf course
Very nice layout. This course is very tough for high handicapper.
Great course with challenging layout
We play this course 5-7 times a year. Great condition (for winter play) and pace of play was excellent
Championship Course
Played on a sunny but extremely windy day, which added to the course difficulty. Pace of play was great, even time to take a quick look for wayward balls. Really enjoyable round of golf.
Great course
Great day, great course, great price if i only was a better golfer.
Challenging but fair
In my opinion its one of the best courses in the area plus fairways well-maintained beautiful scenery excellent course. Well worth the money and challenge. Fantastic Staff and amenities. You can tell I really enjoyed myself.
Good course
Hilly track, back nine is front nine for Champion's Tour event.
Sweeeeeet
Have played on jones course many times. But was our first time here on Jackson course. Very pleasantly surprised. The holes they played on the combo course from the senior event from the previous week were an extra special treat. The course on the whole was in great shape. We never saw another group and the facilities are worthy of 2x the price. Play here! You will enjoy yourself!
always enjoy playing here
Played the blended 18 hole and liked it. I have played all of both courses and while i didnt get to play some of the better holes, the course was in good shape and the blended hole were very playable.
Jackson Course at Rock Barn
Course was in good shape. The greens are faster
than they have been in a few months, good putting
surface. We played as a twosome and finished in
three hours.
Ready to see the Champions Tour here in about
a week !
Top 10 in the Area
Spent the afternoon with my dad & brothers out here and was not disappointed. Facilities were in great shape (the practice range COULD be better...but not a huge deal). Course lived up to expectations. Fairways were plush and well cared-for. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. Some ongoing construction around the course, but anyone that lives in the Charlotte-area would be used to this. You will get what you pay for here, if you time it right you can find some great deals.
Great Course
I've played the Jones course 3 times now and I am never disappointed. The layout is great and the fact that the Champions Tour will be there next month makes the experience better.
jacksoncourse
First time playing and great facilities all over but you guys communications were broken because both courses were aerated as recent as4days ago!never said anything at your web site!thinking I should get a credit because of the lack of communication!
Rock Barn CC
Of the two courses the Jones course is the best. The course was doing maintenance so we played 9 holes on the Jones and then 9 on the Jackson course. The staff was on top of everything when we arrived and got us off earlier than our tee time. Definitely want to go back and play the Jones course when not being worked on. Overall was a very good time.
would love to play it again
A great golfing experience with a friendly and accommodating staff. The only hitch was that golfnow's website had tee times starting at 6am when the club's earliest starting time is 730. I had a tee time for 722 which was not a problem.
This place is just AMAZING!
I hd played this course before with an amateur league, so when my friend who had always beating me in overall score asked if I wanted to play it this time I didn't hesitate. The course is in amazing conditions, the rough lives to it's tough expectations. Greens are rolling beautifully and true. I completely understand why the Champions Tour plays here. The course is challenging enough for anyone if they can't stay on the fairway, but keeping it fun and entertaining. Not to say that it was the first time I beat my friend so I'll be definitely making my way back here sometime.
