Great course/layout
First time player and I wish I lived closer to this course, it’s 75 minutes away but worth the drive. Simply put it’s a great track. Not long, but lots of interesting elevation changes and twists and turns. Tee shots on 1 and 10 are really visually intimidating but once you realize how much room you actually have they aren’t too bad; great mix of hole types, some good doglegs, some good driving holes with either uphill or downhill wide open fairways. You have a lot of options to bomb it on some holes or lay back and still be fine;
It’s also visually beautiful and the people who work there are friendly. There is an associated private course as well but the place isn’t stuffy. I didn’t feel anything but welcome. Had a really nice day and you will too!
Love this course!
The Jackson course at Rock Barn is a great layout with some challenging holes. Everyone who works there is very nice. Your greens fees include range balls, which is a great value in my opinion. I definitely recommend this course.
Private club access
Basically, you’re allowed to play a top shelf private club without being a member. Fantastic practice facilities. Great course very nice Golf Cart with the GPS
The restaurant is top shell. We eat at Fresh chef back home. But it live so far away, I would join the course
I'll play here again for sure
Even though the greens had been recently aerated, they rolled nicely and the speed was good. The fairways and rough were all in great shape.
The course does demand some accuracy into the greens. An errant approach shot can quickly introduce you to a double bogey.
I'm hoping to make this a course I play more often.
Rock Barn Memorial Weekend
Awesome layout with great views. Each hole was different than the last and provided a nice test of my golf skills. Loved the elevation changes.
Great course
Greens recently aerated otherwise course was in perfect condition
Nice surprise
This course is very scenic, and in beautiful shape. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly, professional and welcoming. We had a very enjoyable afternoon - a. nice surprise.
Absolutely Stunning Course
This was my first time here and man am I glad I went. The conditions of the course we top notch! The club house and restaurant we very nice and the staff was friendly and on point. Ordered a burger and it was great quality. The cart girl was awesome and very quick. I can’t stress enough how much I enjoyed my round and I will definitely be back!!
Great Course for the GolfNow deal!
If you get a chance to play this course on the GolfNow Hot Deal, it is totally worth it! Still a good course but for regular price, I would look at some other options in the area that are a better value.
Staff interaction was average but again, if I am paying $80 a round, I would expect a better level of service.
