About Juniper Preserve
Located in the Central Oregon town of Bend, Juniper Preserve (formerly named Pronghorn Resort) is a high desert escape amidst 640 acres of juniper forest. This resort and residential community has two 18-hole championship golf courses, the Nicklaus and Fazio. The Fazio is only available to members and their guests, while the Nicklaus can be played by resort guests. The golf club is also home to an instruction academy. The newly named Juniper Lodge, a 104-room property with spacious rooms and suites, debuted in 2019. There is also a collection of home rentals for families and larger groups as well. Amenities for resort guests include an outdoor pool, fitness center and The Juniper Spa. Other off-course amenities include tennis and yoga onsite or the concierge can arrange off-property excursions and charters such as kayaking, helicopter tours and more.Facts

Great track in great shape
Enjoyable, scenic, engaging and fair layout with multiple tee boxes, greens roll fast and true. Gets windy as it is open and exposed for the most part, bunkers well maintained, I’d play it again in a heartbeat. Could use more cart signage, also be aware GPS yardage is to the center of the green and not the pins.
Beautiful
This course was manicured to perfection. All the holes provided adequate challenge for golfers of all experience levels. This is a very spectacular course that needs to be scheduled on any vacation plan. If you come to Bend to play golf and you haven’t played a Pronghorn, you haven’t played golf in Bend…..!
Beautiful course, nice greens.
We played at a Tee Off deal time and have never played here before. Beautiful course. The greens are well maintained and the views are pretty nice.
Course is a good lay out worth challenging holes.

Just came from Bandon Dunes, this course rivals anything on the coast.... stunning
Need marshals
I was playing with two people that I didn’t know. They stopped after nine because there was three groups ahead of us that were all a part of a bachelor party. They waited on nearly every hole to watch the group behind play their shot. There were no marshals on the course. It was frustrating taking three hours on the back nine alone.
Must Play
Amazing course and facilities. You are better off playing here once than 2 public munis. Round comes with Range balls and cart. We walked it fr the tips, 7,400 - I would likely ride when I play it again there just too much ground to cover from each hole. Great experience at least play it once
Incredible
This course is fantastic - these maybe the best maintained fairways I’ve ever played on . . . And I have played some really good golf courses. I say 5 Stars !
Challenging course
Everybody I came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful sunny day which always helps. The course was in great shape except some of the greens which had some spotty patchy places. The greens did roll true and flat even because of the spotty patches.
Gem in Bend
Very nice course with good practice facility. Greens pure. Not busy so pace excellent. Limited amenities.
Pronghorn - Amazing
We golf 150 rounds a year. Three countries, 8 states and this ranks as number one. Great staff, outstanding layout that is challenging but fair. Unforgettable scenery A must for any golfer.
