The Robins are out of control, otherwise it was great.
Great shape for winter
I would like to see better markers to indicate next hole for walkers, we got lost a few times. Next to greens would be helpful!
Just happy to be playing winter golf
As good as you could expect for winter golf in Central Oregon. There were lots of limbs down from tree trimming. It would have been nice if they picked those up. Fairways are in good shape. Greens are slow and bumpy, but that is to be expected this time of year.
Pronghorn Golf Course - Jack Nicklaus
Excellent course. Amazing site. Greens were slow because had been aerated, otherwise, it would have been perfect.
What a waste
Clubhouse personal were condescending. They offer no services and amenities. No drinking water and no beverage cart was available on a warm Sat afternoon. No help with your cart and no marshals around to keep play moving. I get better service at my local Municipality for $40 dollars a round.
Pronghorn Nicklaus Signature Course.
The Pronghorn Nicklaus was in excellent condition and very interesting, somewhat challenging layout.
Greens are quick with subtle reads.
Nice. Driving range and practice greens
So disappointed
This is the 2nd time I have played this course. I will not play it again. Two bad experiences. The greens were in rough shape. I played another Bend course yesterday so I know this was not because of weather conditions. The pin placements were mostly on the edge of the greens and because of the green conditions a ball would not hold a green. The sand traps at 4PM were still wet and muddy. I called before getting a tee time and ask about aeration. The said it would not be until later. The tee boxes had been aerated and markers on many tee boxes on the wrong box. When told by a worker that the tee marker was forward I said that the score card shows it at this yardage. He responded that the score cards are wrong. The fairways were OK. I think there are much better courses to play in Bend than this course for the money.
Great Place…SLOW PLAY!
Beautiful facility, friendly folks…5 + hour round…BS!
Outside services were lacking......no food/beverage cart on course and the snack shop closed at 4pm.
Golf with a concert
First seven holes went smooth, and then the band started warming up at the stage they had set up for a charity event. The next 5 holes were interrupted by concert volume music. Was very distracting and not something I thought I would have to deal with when paying 250$ for a round of golf.
