Nice course
First time playing and it was a nice course. This goes to all course’s out in America. It gets old being paired with other golfers all the time so they can get as much golfers/ money. I get it but I have had some fun times and some horrible times. There should be some kind of rules or something for this. You can’t pair scratch golfers with people that can’t break 100. That slows play down so bad. It’s not enjoyable.
Amazing course for the low country and great pricing for tgis area
All in All a great course but the bunkers need to be redone and maintained better but other then the bunkers i would play every weekend.
Bunkers suck.
I would have given the course conditions 5 stars if the bunkers were playable. Some of the bunkers are full of water and some are just mud. One of the other courses in the area is redoing there bunkers and Santee National should follow their example.
Great place some upgrades would be beneficial.
Pace of play was a little slow even though they weren't that busy. I got stuck behind 3 different groups for a few holes. They had bathrooms and water fountains. They lacked in food a little bit at the clubhouse. Overall I would definitely go back and I recommend it. Course was in great condition unfortunately They had just punched the greens so that was tough.
One of my favorites
For me it doesn’t get much better than Santee National. I always drive from Columbia and it’s worth it. Great layout and always in great shape. The front 9 is very forgiving and scorable. Back 9 gets a little narrower and tougher. I play my best golf here!
Rainy day in SC
Love the course. Pace of play was slow because of rain delay. Course soaked, but still played ok. Great time.
Beautiful Course
The course was in great condition. All the staff were helpful & friendly. Would love to play it again!
Flat front nine, hilly back nine
Course was cart path only due to previous day’s showers & poor course drainage. Terrible customer service @ check-in and a rude, curt employee (I think was head pro) who obviously didn’t want to be there. The golf cart had break problems and the cart paths were in absolutely the worst condition possible—dug up, rutted out, had big rocks on them and mostly torn completely up! What a mess! With a lot of work, course could be made worth the price but right now it’s rip-off city!!
Shiver Your Teeth Out
Worse cart paths I’ve every seen—and it was “carts path only” after heavy storms night prior to playing! If you didn’t drive REALLY SLOWLY on the cart paths you would’ve needed seat belts to avoid being thrown from the cart—they were that bad!
Pro shop personnel curt, unfriendly and taking phone calls first befOre waiting on customers. Nowhere near worth the money to play!! A waste of time & money!
We really like this course
Beautiful fun to play course. Greens are wicked fast but roll true. Well maintained course and the golf carts were super nice
