Chapel Creek Plantation Villas

Definitely check out this diamond in the rough, in the middle of nowhere yet next to I-95 along with 2 other golf courses. Must visit, must stay, must play.

This will be my last time playing this course. The staff at the course have zero customer service skills. The one individual who claims to be the manager is always on a major power trip. He speaks to customers in a rude and demeaning tone. He couldn't manage a Burger King drive-thru. I have witnessed him raise his voice, and lose his cool. I believe that part of the golf experience is how you are treated by the staff, and this guy will ruin your experience. There are a couple of better courses in the area with much friendlier staff, who are always willing to accommodate. Please take your money to a course who treats customers with respect.

We had a great time playing this course. Very nice layout that doesn’t penalize you if you hit solid shots. Pro shop guys are nice and run a tight ship which is good for pace of plays. Beverage cart girl was nice and attentive.

No players, too many cheap rounds, and not nearly enough invested in course conditions. Don’t bother if you are looking for good course conditions.

This has the potential to be a lovely course. Yardage indications would help. We met a nice couple

Overall an outstanding place to play! Greens were not in as good as I expected them to be from other reviews but staff was great, course was fun(even though we played when it was very windy), the HOT DOG was phenomenal, and I shot 76 from the Black tees! With only 1 birdie. So I have to say, I’ll be back next time I’m in the area! Thank you Santee National!

Reminded me of golf in the northeast US. Enjoyable experience. Gladly play again

Good value

The management of this course refused to cancel my booking when I attempted to reach them after they issued a statement that morning saying that play was for cart on path only. I am handicapped and can barely play 18 holes with a cart on the fairway due to back surgery followed by a total right knee replacement, which the post op PT "ruined my back again. I am on pain killers all day, so this management decision to cancel my reservation and provide me a refund is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I could take further action, but my bank has issued me a refund, and I will drop it at that and not pursue further action with the American Disabilities Act against Santee National.

Super fast greens, tight grass but time of year is most of it. Pace of play was a little slow for my liking. Carts brand new, nice place and we play it every year when visiting my mother in law.

We loved everything about this course except the pace of play. There was a group of 20 playing best ball in front of us. Most had obviously never golfed. It took us almost 3 hours to play 9 holes.

I would suggest not booking tee times for regular golfers when these types of events are booked. It is very frustrating and could lead many to play elsewhere.
