Excellent Layout
Great playable layout. Nothing tricky. The fairways were in good v=condition, roughs were thin and greens had some fungus, bare spots, yet rolled well
Wish you could pick your pairings!
Course was overall very good. Staff was awesome. I was supposed to play with a bunch of members, but they didn’t want to, got re-paired with a few guys who couldn’t play at all. Their pace was brutal. The course was good shape greens were acceptable for this time of year.
GN ing a tee time is always a gamble. When you don’t know who you get, you can get a few guys that take away for a great day at the links. Course was a decent layout from the black tees. Could tight holes couple risk reward holes.
Would definitely play it again!
Course to play
If you're in area be sure to play here
Good people Good course Good price
Beautiful course
The wife and I played this course and were very pleased with it. Pace of play was good and being a pair, the 2 foursomes in front of us let us play through as we caught up to them. The fairways and greens were nice and rolled true. Greens were challenging with the many different levels. First time to play this course but would definitely like to play it again.
Great Value
Greens were in great condition. Bunkers were well-kept. This course would be twice the price if in a different location. Loved it!
It a good golf course
Enjoyed the golf course very much. I liked the front nine better than the back. I personally don’t like too many doglegs which the back nine has. The pimento cheese sandwich in the clubhouse is next level good, best I ever had. The fried bologna sandwich is off the chart too.
Good conditions slow play
The course was in really good condition but a 5 hour round. Lost concentration. Overall had a really good time
Nice course
We were staying at Santee Cooper State Pak and booked a round. If ever staying there you get a discount account of staying at the campground. Have to ask for it at time of booking over the phone.
Awesome Value for the money!!!!!!
I was amazed at the condition of the course! We came from an hour away and had never played here before, but have heard nothing but great reviews and positive opinions from friends and our local club friends. From the tee box to the greens, the course was in amazing condition. The pace of play was very relaxed and the overall layout of the course was very balanced. Dog legs in each direction, challenging water hazards that make you think about your next shot, and nice greens that were well maintained, smooth, and on the faster side. I recommend that if anyone is thinking about playing this course, just do it. I promise it won’t disappoint. The added bonus is the price. We came from the Charleston area and our local courses that are similar are at least double the rate per person. Highly recommend playing here if given the chance.
Great place to play golf
Great place to play golf
Course is good greens are good too
Horrible and unprofessional staff
Booked a hot deal, drove 3 hours and was told if my g/f wanted to ride she or I would have to walk. No carts available, I said ok... can we wait till a cart comes available and I will pay for her to ride and that wasn't even a option, total jerk in the clubhouse, went next door to lake Marion country club and was able to jump right on no problem, very nice and said since national got bought out there have been alot of complaints.. would rate a zero,
