the course is always very good
even though the greens had been airfied they very playable and held approach shots very well it was very enjoyable and the staff are great
Exceptional course it is the most challenging in the area well manicured.
I rank this course in the top 5 within 50 miles try it and see. You will not be disappointed.
Very nice course in this small town less than 1 mile from I-95
When I frist arrived at this course, the club house building, the parking lot, and the putting green did not seem anything that would let me believe this was a nice course. After I stand on the #1 tee, wow, the fairway looked so nice just like those that you see on PGA tournaments on TV. The green was so smooth and good speed. But, best of all, it was not just #1 hole, the entire 18 holes were like that. It was a very well maintained course from tee to green and bunkers too. The starter was very nice spending time to explain the hole layout. When I turned to #10, he was also there to do the same. I was paired with 3 other local players, and they were so nice and fun to play with. I booked my tee time on golfnow.com and it was a great deal to play this course at $35.
course was in good shape and played to its challenge
I enjoyed the course and its challenge to be concorded and taken captive lol, which I didn't this time but I will be back.
Great Value
Fairways and greens were both in good shape. This course has nice wide fairways and only a limited amount of trouble. We had the course pretty much to ourselves. Overall a very solid golf course that I will play again.
Great golf right off the interstate
Excellent layout and the course was in very good condition. Rivaled some of the fancier courses around the Charleston area. Worth driving an hour from Charleston to come play.
This course is a must play.
Very nice course. Great shape from tee to green. Played the day after it had rained so some of the bunkers were unplayable. Lucky I missed them.
Great course and nice staff
We played it the first of April and it was in great shape for Spring golf. 25 dollars for 18 with a cart was a super deal.
Would go back again!
Great course right off I-95
Being from Charleston I'm fortunate to be able to play a lot of nice courses using golfnow. This course was in as nice of shape as any of the ones I get to play in the Charleston area. Greens not flat, but roll true. The majority of the course is bordered with nice mixed pine/hardwoods and not alot of houses Don't mind driving over an hour to come play again.
Course in great condition
Played from the tips; tees fairways and especially the greens were outstanding. Tees were at all the way back; good, challenging pin placements.Pace of play was good.
Loved the greens
Even in early February, the course was in great shape. Would play it again in a heartbeat.
course was in good shape for feb. Like the square tee boxes. The greens are very big and hold well.
The front nine is very open for novice player and then tightens up on the back nine where ball placement is critical.
Challenging course, excellent condition, friendly staff
Enjoyed playing this course. We had a good time, would recommend it. Large greens.
Course plays great
Santee National is a favorite. Area has gotten an abundance of rain lately. The fairways are mown but a little shaggy. The greens have been aerated in the past month but are recovering nicely. Greens are slow but relatively true. Can't beat this course at the Golf Now rate.
FRIENDLY
NOT AN EASY COURESE EXPECIALLY WITH NO ROLL AFTER A RAIN.
great design with challenging features
Hey fun golf course to play that would challenge you on some golf shots and will be for giving on others
