Table Rock Resort
About Table Rock Resort
The Table Rock Resort is different from most of South Carolina's golf resorts in that it resides in a mountainous setting, not a marshy or oceanfront landscape. It sits in a northwest corner of the state at the base of Pinnacle Mountain, sprawling across 500 acres. Table Rock features a natural waterfall, an 18-hole course called The Rock and an onsite snack bar. Guests who stay in the resort's two-bedroom, two-bathroom condos are allowed free golf.Facts

Fun Course
Great bang for your buck. Fun course to play with your friends.
Love the waterfall. Tight fairways.
Really great value from golfnow. Loved the waterfall hole. Would play again.
Great mountain course
This was a fun well maintained course. The fairways were well groomed but the greens had some crab grass looking stuff on them in areas. Very scenic and just a great course to play.
Fairways and Greens need some work, respect of players
some of the fairways and greens were not in best of shape. overall, nice course lay out. I would play course again, but we had a four some in front of us that wouldn't let us play threw that messed up the pace of play and our trip. on the back nine we finally decided to skip play on the hole they were on a go ahead of them. Just to show how slow they were playing we played two holes before they finished that one. It was ridiculous and disrespectful. Almost dont want to go back to course due to shape of a few greens, respect of some players, and fairways!
Excellent views, course in awful condition.
Fairways were like hitting off of hard packed clay. Sand traps were hard as rock. Greens looked like moon craters, tee boxes with <5% grass.
Could be the nicest course in the area with the views, but the investment just isn't there to make it playable.
It't not worth the drive...Spend your money elsewhere!
My friend and I drove over an hour to play this course. I called the pro shop before booking the tee time and they informed me the greens were punched over a month ago and they were "in great shape". They were awful! Full of sand and weeds! Dont get me started on the fairways...If you like playing from the rough in the middle of the fairway, this is your course. There are some "Ok" holes and wonderful views of the mountains. #8 is beautiful with a waterfall view. Hopefully it gets better for the summer season...
great layout and views.
We kept looking for the goat pen where they kept the groundskeepers.
It is a shame about the course conditions, because everyone in my foursome really liked the layout. The course has a lot of potential with mountain views and a beautiful waterfall but they just don't keep up with it. The course design is overshadowed by the fact that the fairways were unkept. There was less sand in the bunkers than on the greens (read the other reviews), and It looked like they were overseaded yesterday not a month ago.
However with a little effort it could be a great course.
There are a few very memorable holes on this mountain course
A fun course but greens were covered in sand without warning from staff
Waste of gas!
This was by far the worst course that I've ever played! Greens were aerated over a week before; not a huge deal if I'd known about it before driving for an hour, but what really ticked me off was the fact that there was at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch of sand covering them! It was like chipping onto a sand dune at Myrtle Beach! We just left our putters in the bag chipped to hole out. I can go on for another 20 minutes about how bad this place was.... I digress! Never again.
Nice Course
Nice course, challaging.Would tell my friends about the course.Very nice staff.
Great Layout!
Very challenging coarse with a great layout! A lot of water hazards where you have to place your shot very carefully!
Beatuiful day. Met new manager - much improved from previous few visits.
Enjoyed being out on a beautiful day. Others on the course, visting from Canada, were very friendly and encuraged thru play.
Greens need serious attention
While this course is very pretty. The greens are in horrible shape. The green on 10 is full of weeds and on 18 it is dried out and the ground is actually cracked.
Bargain priced
You get what you pay for. If not familiar with course, as we weren't, it's not clearly marked or easily discernible as to how the holes laid from the tee box - some strangely. Greens in poor condition - mowed but some bare spots. If you just want a really good low priced play and aren't particular about condition, it's a good bargain.
Great course
This is a mountain course and therefore the ruff is longer than most courses, love it! As an English man this is what I expect.....be careful to play wise and not try to bite off too much; with the exception of a couple of holes that you can grip it and rip it.
The folks are all friendly, really enjoy playing here.
