Poor condition!!
If you like hitting off dirt, these are the fairways for you. Greens were very nice. There needs to be more attention to getting these fairways in better condition. We have been here for over a month and there is no improvement. Very disappointed. Course has a very friendly staff and a nice layout. Not worth the price. Much better conditions at other courses on the island.
I needed help booking
I spent more than an hour trying to get booked on GolfNow (it kept giving our 2 emails trouble). I went to the Robbers Row pro shop looking for help & was not treated well by the lady behind the desk - twice!
Eventually, everything worked out & we had a great round. Nice course.
Disappointed in conditions
We were disappointed in the course conditions. For the player who doesn’t have any discounts this wasn’t worth the price compared to other courses on the island.
The course was in as good of condition as could be expected this time of year. Greens were in really good shape and in general was fun without being too difficult for my wife . Staff was very friendly and facilities very nice. Would definitely play again.
A little better signage around the course to help the directionally challenged would be nice.
Don’t Do It
Course has been beat to heck from all of the travel play. It’s burned up in a lot of areas, bunkers not raked, for +2 to Single digit handicappers no challenging holes. Don’t rent clubs either, bring your own, but that’s just a personal mistake, should’ve known better.
Go play Paris Island instead or Hilton Head National.
Nice course
Greens were excellent. Fairways were as good as could be expected for the season.
Turtle pace of play.
Started nearly 30 minutes late and took almost 3 hours to play 9 holes. Pace of play was horrendous. Course was fine. Not much character to the holes. Ended up leaving after 9 holes instead of suffering through another 3 hours. Would never pay full price for a round here.
Lovely course
We’ve been coming to HHI for 7-8 year, and somehow we never found this course. We’ve been there twice, and plan to return. It is beautiful, interesting, challenging for an intermediate player, and well kept.
