great course
Well run course with varying degrees of difficulty.
Winter golf
Excellent welcome. Greens quick and fairly true. Played in about 4 hours considering we had to walk in. One of my playing partners was having a moan about some of the fairways and the lack of grass. I reminded him it’s winter golf.
Play Port Royal - Barony
Course condition was average - fairways quite burnt out. Value for money was reasonable at best.

Port Royal
Good value for money.
Course is Iin decent shape
Enjoyed the round
Decent condition, bit of a funky layout on back nine, but enjoyable nonetheless.
Good value
I have played this course many times. It has some challenges but not punishing. It was in good shape overall and the greens were in excellent condition.
At $50 - 60 it is a good value. Not sure I would pay $100.
The cart staff is excellent. Very helpful and friendly. I got checked in by a young man who was very friendly and efficient.
I will be back.
Port Royal review
Second time playing Port Royal. Staff very friendly and efficient getting loaded and checking in. Great warm up area with range large putting green and two chipping greens. Course was in good condition. Dormant grass on fairways but green tees and very good greens. Good speed allows the ball to roll. Play was slow with no ranger on course. Round took 4 hours and 20 minutes. Nice layout and definitely worth playing. I will return
Not bad for winter conditions.
Typical condition for February. Mated down fairways and greens were a little rough.
The course is a nice setup well maintained greens are a little bit slow be prepared
All in all a good value. My biggest criticism is the driving range, which is always in terrible condition. No grass to speak of. Probably due to the number of rounds and overuse.
Robbers Row
Driving range--below average . Very torn up, little grass. Poorly marked targets.
Was lightly raining when we finished but staff did not help us to our car. They could have "gone the extra mile" but did not even though there were only a few people finishing their rounds. Starter was excellent.
Fairway conditions were not great. Although it is winter, other area courses seem to have better grass coverage.
Bunkers were inconsistent. Some hard pan. Definitely NOT a course for walkers.
