Hole in one
We have a lot funs and a memorable moment at this golf course. Pro-shop provide fast check in. Starter was excellent to provide all the details about the golf course since it was our first time playing there. He told us to play at white tee due to the layout of the course. It played longer than it looks. White tee 5850 yds. On hole #5, I finally got my first hole in one 134 yds with my 8 iron. Thanks to the starter’s recommendation to play at white tee! I been waiting for this for 15 years playing golf and it happened at Woodstock country club!
Great layout- Terrific greens but winter really beat upbrest of the course
First off- cant say enough about the staff and the friendly way we were welcomed to the club! After booking a tee-time the day before- we showed up a little early & they offerd to let us right out. With a big storm on the horizon- we were able to get all 18 holes completed- ! Kudos for that!!! Greens were terrific- rolled true. Fairways were a work in progress- ataff said it was a rough winter-. Overall- a great valley course thats very walkable. Loved it- will return from Maine in the fall when the conditions improve for another stay @ this beauty- JP
The course is a lot of fun
A great layout that lets you use all your clubs. Well maintained and a great value
Beware, a river runs through it!
The course and club are outstanding. However, for my buddies and I, the repeated river hazards, often twice on each hole, are simply too much to bear! Sorty.
Always a tough track to play ..,
The Woodstock Country Club is the shortest most challenging course I have ever played. Lots of trouble, small greens and narrow landing areas. It’s also quite wet at this time so playing a bit longer than normal. Working the ball right to left is the best shape shot for this track. Enjoy the challenge!
Friendly staff, well maintained course
Staff is very nice and helpful. Course is in good shape and runs along a creek that comes into play on many holes. Challenging but fun. Easily walkable as well. Beautiful trees in the fall.
Challenging course
This is a short course, but very challenging. The rough is very high and when wet (in the am) very difficult to hit from. The fairways and in great shape and the overall design is very nice. There are 1-2 holes that are not great, but the rest are really nice.
The greens were a little on the slow side, but they have had a lot of rain recently and probably why.
Overall, highly recommend playing this course when in town.
Slow play
There was a womens tournament of some kind ahead of us. The course should have had Marshalls on the course to keep play moving. 5 hrs on that short a course was ridiculous.

We are sorry for you experience during our Ladies Invitational. We were monitoring pace of play throughout the day in question and would like to offer you a complimentary return visit to our course. Please call the pro shop at 802-457-6674.

Avoid, Pro Shop does not care about pace of play
This is a short layout. Conditions were excellent. It should never take 5 hours to play. Notified Proshop several times about the slow play. They did not care, never came out to check on pace of play.

We are sorry about your experience, we were in fact monitoring pace of play as we had a practice round for Ladies invitational on the course that day. I wish you had stopped into the pro shop to register your concerns and would still like to extend you and your guest a complimentary round on us as is our policy under these circumstances. Please feel free to contact me at 802-457-6674. Thank you for the opportunity keep you as a valued guest at the Woodstock Country Club.

excellent
Great course, extremely well maintained, spectacular area. Love playing there, one of my all time favorites. Pricey at normal rates, but discounts may be available.
Perfect day for a round of golf
Other than a delayed start due to frost the day was perfect. No pressure. Course was in great shape. Relaxing and fun.
Great Day in Vermont
Our favorite place to golf! Played as a Hot Deal in GolfNow,m. You will go back. We drive two hours to play and don’t hesitate. Great course, great conditions and very friendly staff.
great out and back course
It had rained all day the day before. Only a few wet spots that didn't interfere with play. We had a great time.
Hello. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
