The Lakeview Golf Resort can be something for everyone: a golf resort, a wedding venue, a vacation destination or more. As part of the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, the resort offers two courses with views of Cheat Lake and the Allegheny Mountains, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools and dining. Pace of play great. Greens/ tees not so much.
Pace of play was great. The greens where still very sandy and the boxes need some love. Would of changed mind with the greens if I would of known.

Pretty awful
I used to be a member here a decade ago and it’s depressing to see how awful this course has gotten. It’s early in the season but this winter was very mild and courses in this area are in great shape… except here. I play a lot of golf and would recommend the pines, preston county, uniontown cc or even mountaineer before I would recommend this place.

Muddy day in WV
A lot of plugged balls as was suspected for march after a rain storm.
Protection of the courses future play ability is apparent.

Pretty decent
I hope the new owners continue to fix the course up, some of the greens, Karen, horrible condition, but that happens after a crappy fish winter but the fairways are coming along nice. It is cartpath only I’m not sure when that will end, but it’s definitely helping the fairways.

Hoping the bunkers get tightened up soon
Really just hoping that the green side bunkers will be in much better shape reasonably soon. Had a great time out there tho and of course I patronize this course frequently so I’ll be back soon!

This Course needs attention.
There are Huge chunks out of the greens. Greens are in horrible shape, Tee boxes were in bad shape. The price is ridiculous for what you play on.

Ahhh it’s not even like that. It’s December that’s why it’s four stars. Fairway grass was just a little tall but again I literally don’t care and I’m just glad I have the option to play here thru the winter weather dependent. Can’t wait for prime conditions this spring and summer!

Bad Greens
Very scenic course, excellent views of the Cheat Lake. This course is a good challenge. Mostly narrow fairways, lots of trees. They did a good job picking up all the leaves. The greens are absolutely terrible though. All of them had a bad spot and several had bad spots all over. Had to put through large patches of dirt, missing turf, sand. Seemed like the weather had washed sections away.

Crappy
Poor maintenance. Poor layout. It should be a lot nicer with the location but was just atrocious.

First Snow
First snow during a cold snap. Just trying to get some golf in before Winter. Course in great shape,, considering this time of year. My brother, nephew, myself played rain, snow, or shine. Well,, we got all 3, hail too
