Debbie Doniger shows two chipping drills that focus on a solid lead wrist. Use these drills to eliminate wrist break down and consistently create crisp contact on chip shots.

I chip with one hand and this is a useful tip. Thank you
Excellent tip can’t wait to try
Nice tip and drill
Also, what club are you using there? PW? 9I? Thanks
This is by far my Achilles heel. I put cross handed, have for probably 25 years (left hand low) Never thought of chipping this way. I also take off my glove to putt and have thought about doing that when chipping too. Will definitely give this a try, both as a practice technique and perhaps in practice while playing. Thank you. Enjoying all of you at Golf Pass!
Thanks Eric - just the tip I've been looking for to add yards to my drives.
What about the hips on the downward swing ?
Ms. Debbie,
I'm a right handed golfer and putt with left had low. In your first practice drill, you were teaching that grip. If I'm already using that grip for putting, would you recommend I use that grip style for chipping around the greens instead of the conventional? Thanks for any/all advise .
P.S. I'll go and practice your tips today.

Great drills. Tried them yesterday. If they work really well (both did for me), would you actually use them for play? Matt F has great success with cross-handed. But I’ve never seen anyone use the other one, although it worked really well for me on practice green. Felt like the club was doing all the work.
