Rodney Green
Rodney Green shows a great drill that will help you hit the ball on the upswing with your driver. Try this on the range and start hitting higher, longer drives.

Thanks Rodney, simple and clear
Rodney, Do you have practice drill recommendations for preventing "early extension" during the golf swing?
Richard; seems like if your weight is forward the low point is somewhere under your shoulder, arm pit, logo, etc so maybe an inch or so behind ball and club starting to rise at impact. I don't think we need a large degree to launch a 10.5 at 13 or so. LHTom
LH Tom! Good to "see"you! It's me, Jim G from the old RG site. Hope you and your game are well....
Swing up to the ball. Up from where? Up from the bottom of the swing arc. If the ball is just inside your forward heel, then the bottom of the swing arc must be near the middle of your stance. That puts the bottom two to four inches behind the ball. Eye focused at that spot?
