My favorite shot to play.

You say “swing along the body line”… i don’t’ understand that .

Hi Blair,
Could you please explain what you mean by closing the stance?
I am a lefty so this is always a bit confusing to translate.
Many thanks,
David

"Swing along your body line to hit a power draw". I do not know what that means? It looks like a normal swing for her. Thank you,

Blair, does this process work for fairway metals and hybrids too? What about irons? // Jack

When I close the clubface I lose the loft. What am I doing wrong?

?name=D%20D&rounded=true&size=256

You either said it wrong or miss hit. FACE SENDS IT-PATH BENDS IT. i.e. you dont place your face where you want ball to “end up” but rather where you want to start , which yours did (the building) then your ball wound up (ended up) waaay left of the building.

I'm a little confused by Blair's explanation. She wants the ball to curve left around the dogleg not go straight down the middle of the fairway. However, she says the building is the middle of the fairway. She points here club head at the building where she wants it to go? Doesn't she want it to go to the left of the building? In fact that is where it goes. So, shouldn't she say that she points her club head along the initial line of flight from which it will then veer left around the dogleg where she wants it to go?

Visualizing the shot I find is very important...great tips!

Thanks Blair! The draw is always the most satisfying ball flight in my opinion!
