Position of the ball in the stance for shorter versus longer bunker shots. Same or further forward for higher shorter shots?

I was made aware of this drill by you a couple of years ago but did not start practicing with it until recently (not sure what inspired me to start). I can attest that it has helped my game tremendously, both with irons and the driver I know your students can benefit greatly by using it. Thanks you for this advice.
Thanks Martin. Great drill, actually hit the 90 yard marker with last 3 swings - of 25, decided a good time to move on to put this feel into action with full swing. I used to do a drill my pro called “toe to toe”, but for me that introduces too much hand action. Really feel the movement to 3 o’clock.
Hi Martin, another useful drill from you! In your opinion is this drill a valid option for use on the course to safely move the ball down a fairway under windy conditions?
