Not easy to see the ball strike - so are you contacting mostly with the toe?
How forward leaning should the shaft be at impact when you are so close to the ball?
I have used this method for several years now and like it. I've been experimenting with more of a bunker stance and setup with more lofted wedges when I am short sided or need a lot of loft quick. Am I barking up the wrong tree?
Why would you call this a safety shot rather than your go-to?
I find that if I don't need to fly the ball (e.g. no hazard between me and the pin) then keeping the ball low and rolling is percentage-wise the smarter shot. Is this just me and/or am I mistaken?
Are there adjustments to this technique when bumping into the grain? I seem to face that situation more often.
What adjustments do you make for an uphill lie? I have a tendency to get chunky on uphill chips...
What is the difference between an old-fashioned putting grip and a 'normal' grip, please? It seems like I should already know this, since I have been playing for over 30 years... duh...
Can you use a wider stance for chips for greater stability? Also you didn't mention whether your stance and hips are slightly open or not.
When hitting my second shot with my iron I hit behind the ball a lot , what can I do to fix this?
