Martin, where ya been?? Hv I missed any recent tips from U? You are my fav!! Another great tip and thought process to bring to the range!! Glad to see you again!!!
Thomas, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to be back!! I have a bunch of new content coming soon!
Terrible. Did not hear a word that he said.
Hello Socrates, that's a great name! The videos are muted until you elect to turn on the volume. Have a great day.
Great to have you back, coach! Any adjustment to the set-up procedure for draw/fade, pitch/chip?
Thanks Charles, nice to be back in the mix. Purposely aiming left to hit a fade, and right to hit a draw will help. Also, ball location forward for a fade and a little more toward the center for a draw. Naturally, narrow the stance for pitch and chip shots.
Hi Martin. That was among the most basic but helpful tips I’ve ever received. Thanks !
Sometimes it’s hard to see the easy stuff :-) Thank you
Great video Martin.
Thx Simon!
Martin, awesome job explaining the differences between the two set-ups
Thx Jim!
Now I know how to control my setup and improve my consistency. Thanks!
James, thanks for the note.
The subtitles in this video completely block view your feet and ball. I suggest you drop the subtitles or move them to the top of the screen.
Martin,
Enjoyed the iron set up routine, do you have a similar video for woods?
Always enjoy your video lessons, very educational. Do you ever have your golf schools in California?
Hello Thomas, the four iron set up is exactly the same as a hybrid. Woods would encourage a slightly wider stance with the driver being the widest. The wider the stance, the more your body center is behind the golf ball to help with a sweeping launch.
Love this very simple approach to set up, Martin. I feel a majority of my bad shots are due to ball position & setup. I know it and can feel it but don't know how to fix it. Will start practicing this way with my Golfer's Toolbox right away. Thank you!
Jeff, as you know, I use the Golfer's Toolbox with 99% of my students. Strong believer in using a set up station when practicing.
