Toe Tap Putting Stroke
Carolin Pinegger teaches a great technique for downhill putts to prevent the ball from rolling out too far. Simply scoot back a touch at address and start trickling in those scary downhill putts.

Thank you! I have started using this on the faster putts and it is a game changer for me!! I sunk several putts for par yesterday !!!
What is most hard thing do lap puts to do?
Great tip, I can't wait to try it!
G'day Carolin, Yes, this does work. I saw this years ago from one of the great players way back. I use this for downhill putts and short curve putts where a solid putt from the centre of the face is hard to control. I have sometimes mentioned this to other players after I made the putt, but they seem to disbelieve it works.
Great tip, but you change your close to “I’ll be back!”
Love your tips, I definitely needed that one
Could you try a few putts on a steeper downhill, and miss intentionally?
This is a great tip for downhill putts. Our greens run at 11-12 and are lightning fast so using the toe tap is going to help a lot. THANKS!!!
