Great drill
Thanks Martin, I’ll give this a try, as I do leave short putts short of the hole occasionally.
It would be helpful to demonstrate how to pitch/chip out of the second cut grass near the green.
Depending on the lie will determine possibly where you place the ball in your stance. You may need some wrist hinge in the back again depending on the lie. You can employ the above and move the ball back and may not even need to hinge the wrists.
can you do that drill with all clubs?
Sure. Just be sure if it’s full swing you actually need this feel. Some can be overly connected. If you stick with the below and just some short game you should be good. Check in with your coach if you have one.

Great drill but can you tell me club you're using here? I'm very comfortable with my 56 or 60 degree for shots like this but I occasionally have difficulty with chunking when I'm hitting against the grain around the greens. Thanks!
