Stop chunking the ball with this simple fix from John Montgomery. Match your setup to the slope to start making solid contact around the green.

Great drill.
Nice tip John, I would like to know what club you used for that. My coach tells me to use my Approach 46 for chipping and use my 60 to pitch but not chip. Thanks
Okay Awesome, I'll watch this video 5 more times then try it at home, well not at home in the kitchen but locally anyway. :)
Gotta try that chicken wing.
Hi,
I have a question. What about your weight? Is there any weight transfer (back to front)? Or is it mainly on one foot and stays there through out the chip shot?
Thank you
Great tip
Thanks John! Great advice here.
John, where is your weight? Do you shift your weight?
Thank you
I'm comfortable with uphill chips...probably better at that than on a flat lie. My problem is with downhill chips shots. I usually end up skulling or punching the ball across the green. :(
Is this shot hit from tee box or fairway?
Great drill.
