Nice Weather but Course not as Nice
I liked the layout of the Cimarron course and the challenge it had but the fairways had a lot of weeds and bare dirt and some greens had some issues as well.
We were 2 groups behind a slow group that the marshal did not make them speed up . We and the group in front of use ended up skipping a hole to get by them. They took 1 hour to play 2 holes and we finished in 3.5 hours by skipping a hole and them.
Go elsewhere
Clearly there is no money spent on the course at all. Not even to mow. If you enjoy hitting from dirt and weeds, then this is your course. The staff in the clubhouse is very friendly, but the course Marshall was ridiculous. Came up to us and made us move our cart because when we parked it, the right side was 6 inches off the cart path. That mixed with absolutely the worst golf course I have ever played in my entire life means I will never again play golf there.

Nice course to play
It was a nice course to play. Greens were in decent shape. Fairways were lacking good grass lot of bare spots. But its worth the money to play. I would go back.
Great Clubhouse, Great Golf Pro, and Great Course
First time playing and the golf pro went above and beyond explaining the clubhouse and directions to the amenities. I played the Aqua Canyon course and had no difficulty navigating the course and putting as the greens were in great condition. Fairways and the rough were a bit “rough” as they were aerated, but considering the time of year(Feb), I cannot complain. I will be back again.
Good value for the money
A fee greens and fairways had a fungus or something and were dead. But for the price a good deal. Staff is always great and clubhouse is nice.
Fairways were dead, like hitting off of hard pan. Greens were not in too bad of shape. Some of the greens were pretty bad.
This course needs some help and a lot of water.
Bad shape
The entire course is rough. Maybe 4 holes have a discernible fairway. Otherwise you are hitting off dirt or weeds. Just awful. The greens weren’t horrible but everything else was so bad that it didn’t really matter.
With playing. Not worth a drive
If you’re in the area it’s worth playing for the price. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to play it. Many spots in fairways were hard pan and blotchy. Greens were in good condition though! I played as twosome so it was brutally slow behind a foursome. Overall, it’s worth playing at least once. No regrets.
