Guthrie Golf & Country Club

This course is an old fashioned 9 hole course with multiple tee options. The greens are native Bermuda grass and are very small. The course has many beautiful mature trees that line each hole. The fairways and greens are firm so it takes judgement to land the ball properly and allow for run. The hole routing is excellent and challenging. Good ball strikers will enjoy this course but it is fun for all skill levels.

Great little 9 hole course friendly staff and a lot of history

Probably the fourth or fifth time I've played Guthrie CC through Golf Now and never had a problem with them honoring it (just my experience). Course is well kept and always pretty open so I think it's a great value. Not to difficulty to play and pretty short. Never had any issues with staff, always very friendly and helpful.

This golf coarse does not participate with Golf Now. Do not waste your time trying to book through golf now. It appears as a hot deal most of the time but it will not be honored when you arrive at the golf club. Once booked it is very difficult to get your money back if you prepaid.

The course seemed to be aware that golfer book tee times through golf now but did not try to honor the reservation due to members taking priority.

I would say don’t waste your time book a different golf courses

We was told that the coarse doesn’t except golf now tee times and they haven’t for a year. We had to pay the greens fees and cart fees. Golf now had already taken my money and when I called they had a 3 hour wait time to talk to me. When I finally talked to someone they called the coarse and they said that they do have tee times open. But they had to call back the next day to talk with the manager about golf now.

Pretty good nine hole course. Bermuda greens were dead,but that is to be expected this time of year.

We show up at the course and they say that we should use the pay now on golf now. They then told us they were having a dispute with golf now. Not my problem I paid to play the course. Ended up paying more at the course The course is a below average track and conditions were ok at best. I would guess anyone willing to pay to play this course they would treat like royalty. I told the old grumpy lady that I understand if they are having issues with golf now but she cannot expect the customer to pay the difference. If I didn’t have family in town that wanted to play with their grandkids I would have left.

Greens are in good shape and good grass in all fairways.

Cost of renting a riding cart was higher than expected at $30.00. Collars and greens were "rock-hard " and nearly impossible to hold for chips and pitches from 100 yards or less. Fairways were in pretty good shape and overall layout was attractive and visually pleasing. Pace of play was good but should have been since we were the only players on the course at 9:00 a.m.

It's a 9-hole that I always play twice from different tee boxes and that changes EVERYTHING! Love this course, which happens to be the oldest course in Oklahoma. Bermuda greens take the Oklahoma heat quite well and are nice and consistent, though quite a bit different compared to the usual expectation of greens in Oklahoma.
Beautiful lines...wide fairways...big trees and lots of evergreens...not easy, but not difficult. Doesn't seem that popular, though I'm not sure why.

Great course for beginners learning the game. Not crowded.

Pretty decent course. Greens were very dry, fairways are wide open and that's good for a 15 handicap golfer. Challenging little course. Pace of play was great because it wasn't very busy.

Nice old course, but a little furry, especially the greens! Lots of good holes and the opening and closing part threes are demanding. Quicken the greens up and this could be a contender!

Had a good time because we were able to play at our own pace.

Overall, had a great time, really liked the layout of the course and even enjoyed the finishing par 3 over the water.
